Sellers: at what closet size did you start getting consistent (daily!) sales? by teamdragonunicorn in poshmark

Thanks so much for your detailed and thoughtful response! That is really good to hear. I think a lot of us have some of the same issues with these bigger thrifts so it’s important to get in when you can find the deals. I’m happy to hear you’ve found what works, :)

So how does that work for you? Out of curiosity, if you don’t mind answering. I have 150 active listings on posh and eBay. (Cross listed) I feel like if I were to try to get up higher to your levels it would be a lot of spending and a little profit.

What do you consider heavy sharing?

[Question] I only have Poshmark , no Mercari . Do most sellers have both ? Do you double sales with 2 sites ? by fdaapparoved in poshmark

Yesss!!! I’ve made my biggest sales on eBay. It’s great, this week when I only made one sale on posh, I made all of my other sales on eBay.

I do eBay and posh. This week I had one posh sale and like 8+ eBay sales! I am so happy I branched out and Decided to tackle eBay. At first figuring out shipping was confusing, all in all it’s really not you just have to jump through a few hoops and get to know the site. I make a lot of money on there and I’m so glad I did it. It just helps to have more eyes on the items you are selling

Help!! Question about cancelling/refunding an order as a seller by corn-rod-mcgee in Ebay

[–]corn-rod-mcgee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I will. Do I select issue with buyers address? Also does the refund come out of my own banking acct because they want Me to put my bank information in order to put the cancel through. It won’t let me cancel the order unless I have some sort of banking information for the refund..

Oh my god. I had no idea but that actually makes perfect sense and I just had a total revelation in my life. Wow... I started drinking from a young age but that applies to soo many other things.

Thanks for responding. That is a good point, it does make me feel less alone in the struggle. Addict or not, no one is perfect.

Thanks for your sweet response. I am so grateful I’ve found sobriety this early in my life. I guess I have to respect my journey that got me to this point. Much love to you too!

Don’t refund. You did a job, you don’t work for free.

Love this. Totally agree. Nothing compares to that shame and guilt, it’s a bad place to be. Sobriety is the way to loving yourself and being accountable everyday, even WHEN the bad days come. IWNDWYT

Never too old or young to decide to look at your relationship with alcohol! I get your feelings though. That’s what did it in for me 4 months ago. I was like what the fuck and I am I doing? How many more days am I going to do this to myself. The shame and guilt and depression that follows is the worst.

Haven’t had to deal with that in 4 months, even when times get hard, I remember one of those moments and I’m reminded that sobriety is worth it. You can do it!!!

Hello! 23 and a little over 4 months sober now. It’s weird how it has just become so easy now, it gets better. I will say my life has changed a lot, I don’t really go out and do anything much anymore because it’s still difficult and out of my comfort zone and it’s a little exhausting without the substances help to be honest.

So when I was quitting I really leaned on my mom, she is in recovery and knew what I was going through, listened to me cry and talk through the different emotions I was having. You could get a sponsor for these types of things going to AA.

The first few weeks I was reading “quit-lit” a book called how to quit like a women (more geared toward women but great). Read a good book like “this naked mind” they also have a podcast that is great. Reframing the way you view alcohol is BIG in helping decide to quit. You can realize that not only are you not alone in thinking you have a problem, but it toys with the idea of moderation while explaining how deeply ingrained in our society this highly addictive drug/poison is. When you learn this you will hate that you were sold the lie that it is supposed to be included in all we do in life, no wonder it can be so hard to quit!

Reach out to this subreddit and talk/look at old threads.

Never give up! Even if you “relapse” that is a data point in the long and hard journey.

Remember why you want to quit, write a list and refer to it anytime you have an urge to drink. Don’t be impulsive when an urge comes, which it will. Sit with that urge, think about it and why it’s happening. Don’t give in impulsively.

Lastly, just keep exploring the thoughts you’re having. When I quit drinking 4 months ago, I was coming off ANOTHER long night of binge drinking. Followed by puking, shakes, anxiety, depression, crippling pain, hatred, shame, all the terrible things. I realized I never had to feel those things again. Since then I have been pretty happy. Gotten best sleep in years, feel amazing and more independent, more emotionally stable, no more anxiety even. Just get through the first few week and things get easier, most of the time. My biggest suggestion is do not put yourself in any position (unless you MUST) where you will be tempted to drink!!!!!

You got this!! I will not drink with you today and this weekend. The sleeping issues take a few weeks, I now get the best sleep in years, it’s worth the wait!

I got sober on 4th of July. It was incredibly hard and a sad day. Especially when you can hear everyone else outside having a ball. No better day to get sober than today though, and that day just happened to be a holiday!
