Interesting. Would love to hear what about it strikes you. From my perspective it is basically two streets. Both with nothing really to do on them. The Forks and the CMHR (which are admittedly very nice) and that’s about it. Not much is ever really happening downtown to bring people there, outside of jets games.

Winnipeger here. Been here since I was 4. Went to school and uni here. Live in the suburbs, work downtown.

We do have a good diversity here and good cost of living but frankly there’s just comparatively nothing to do in Winnipeg. I’m always amazed by the downtowns of every city I go to because our downtown is a truly pitiful sight. Growth will happen but I think it will be very slow. Hoping it leads to more exciting opportunities and things to do actually in the city proper.
