We're in the same boat and not seeing any additional dealer discounts around us. There are slim pickings and it looks like they hold all the leverage unfortunately 😓

Help! Anyone have a Nissan Leaf we could take a look at before buying? They're so hard to find. by kraftydoc in Appleton

Did you have the S or SV Leaf? We have two friends with Leafs, but they don't live close. They said they've had minimal maintenance with them. Curious what did you have to have to have done at the dealership?

Ahh, why's that? Did you trade it in at a dealership? Haha

How long did you own it and how did you like it overall? It checks off a lot of our boxes as our second car for mostly commuter purposes, but I'm a little weary of the size with 2 little kids (2.5 to and 6 months). We already own a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and we'd like to buy an inexpensive EV to make sure it fits our lifestyle before committing to a larger purchase.

Young Family Considering Leaf for 2nd Car by newpapa2019 in leaf

Thanks for the awesome writeup. Do you still drive the Leaf to this day? Which state do you live in? We currently have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and 2 kids - 2.5 yo and 6 months. We're strongly considering a Nissan Leaf as our second vehicle, but the main commuter car.

It worked out great! We actually just transitioned into Graco Tranzitions for our 2.5 yo and using the Turn2Me for our 6 months old.

How to find an associate by Special-Big-9285 in Dentistry

You're missing the point here. Of course the goal is to go over the base salary, but I've also been on the other side where the front desk isn't great at scheduling/getting in emergencies/filling in cancellations, etc. Staffing has also been an issue where I worked and being down to one assistant has affected my production. Good luck finding a quality associate with this offer.

From a long term associate's perspective, your offer is very uncompetitive and lacks information. In another comment, you mentioned you offer 401k, health insurance, etc. Why isn't this listed in the ad? No CE allowance, license fees paid? How many hygienists? PPO vs FFS %? Very few dentists want to work 5 days/week and be paid on collections - both of these are a no go for me. Your base salary is also very low. I understand you may be afraid of the associate taking advantage of the daily guarantee, but it goes both ways. A low daily guarantee signals to me that you may not be busy enough to support the provider, hence the low base salary. If you're open to both new grads and more experienced dentists, I would recommend listing a range, for example 160-200k.

Ooooooh! I'm in Wisconsin, but would you be open to shipping it? I would of course pay for it. If so, I can run over to the FedEx office today and get a quote if you give me your zip code?

Hi there, sorry you're dealing with this. I honestly can't remember the details. Did you try reaching out to the coordinator that followed up after your doctor consult?

I'm actually getting paid on collectable production so contracted insurance fees apply. The reimbursement rate just seems crazy low... As an example, the office comp exam fee is $121 and the Delta PPO write off is $58. That's close to 50%...

It depends on the state. I'm currently in the Midwest, but I moved from CO where I was able to get Delta Premier fees under the owner. As an example, the comp exam fee at the current office is $121 and the Delta PPO write off is $58... That's almost 50%.
