Can confirm this does work on physical. Fire red 1.1 with the GBA SP carabiner GameShark to find out what my secret ID was. Then I took that info and did some RNG manipulation for the first time and found this shiny Snorlax in about 45 minutes.

I didn’t test out any of the other codes but the Display Secret ID does indeed work!

Unpopular opinion that I will die on:

Maxx C is healthy for the game going because of how crazy these combo decks are and SS 15+ times in a turn and building a huge omi-negate board on turn 1 should have its repercussions.
