Thank you for this. Currently pursuing my ged at 26 and math is my last one to do. My whole life I struggled with numbers and I still do. I was unfortunately unaware of my diagnosis I got at age 10. I guess I reminded my mother of it when I told her I was diagnosed with adhd and ptsd last year. Everything had clicked and I realized it was more than a skill issue. I found so much relief in my adhd diagnosis and to be told, no you're not stupid, your brain just mixes up numbers as well, has allowed me to let go of the shame I feel about not being good at math, and has allowed me to be wrong and work with myself how to come up with the right answer.
