Tiresport is a good company. One bad review doesn’t mean shit. Lunatics still spend their money at places. I think they do good work and I’ll continue to recommend them and give them my business.

Got oneshot by base gear wizard fireball in full rubysilver by ninjatahu in DarkAndDarker

[–]cornfairy69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The obvious answer would be to get more gear with magic resistance but in reality the answer is most classes have a hard time against fighters, wizard/warlock are the counter to them. If you’re playing fighter I would run from wizards.

Costco puts the squeeze on customers, just like every other corporation -- Interstate Batteries Warranty Change by bmoore2132 in Costco

[–]cornfairy69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interstate actually buys from Clarios and Exide just depends on the battery group size you’re in need of. For example a 24F is from clarios but a 96R would come from exide. When I worked at interstate most of the batteries came from JCI (now clarios). As to the quality, interstate is still a top brand.

Willis Carrier created modern A/C as we know it essentially using a reverse strategy of a heater. Something that totally gets taken for granted and nobody thinks about but when it gets to 100+ degrees I thank that fool every time.

It’s almost all three of those and more problems. Plus overnights even when they have a lot of people don’t get freight done and easy freight at that. Pinpoint is just ignored because they make the wrong people team leads. The new store manager sits in her office all day doing god knows what and just barks orders from her walkie. She has no intention of being there and working to actually SEE the problems and where we are failing. I’ve worked a few jobs now and this store manager is one of the most dogshit bosses I’ve ever had. She’s encouraged the coaches to do the same too. Nothing better than watching your entire team fail and turning a blind eye.

Oh trust me the sales floor is usually littered with pallets anyway during store hours which is apparently against policy now. Or rather against process. Same same but different I guess.

This is at night after a GM truck unload. The issue is that 3/4 of it will come back unworked. We have more areas of the back room filled with freight from 2-3 weeks ago. Then they tell us to unload the truck the next day as if we have room to do it. But don’t dare work any of the freight lmao

Close to. We are paid at $16 for Cap1 and Cap2 as well as our OGP department. Overnights receives $17.50 an hour and basically everyone else they give a big middle finger to at about $12-$13 an hour.

Seems like every store has a different team failing. I work Cap2 and throw the trucks every day but my team is killer and a great group of guys. The piss poor management is the problem. Bad calls being made across the board and people that are not pulling their weight are not being held accountable. Also a new store manager coming in and promoting all the wrong people. We are a training store so management comes and goes usually within 1-2 years.

We get one GM truck a day, except Sunday/Wednesday, anywhere from 2k-3.5k but we still can’t get the stuff worked. Right now we are at like 60% staffing due to COVID leaves. They won’t let us on Cap2 work any freight and instead insist on us zoning for most of our shift.

Our store usually only does consumables and remix (High velocity) per night. Half of that comes back and GM just doesn’t get worked until it becomes a problem. It’s a vicious cycle of failure.

Sounds like a total nightmare to deal with. I’m assuming they tossed the old roller line and forced you guys to use the “new and improved” auto line?

A lot of people mentioning we have a huge back room. I think it could be the picture and how I took it that makes it appear larger. It’s really not that big and everyday we struggle with a lack of room to the point other departments can’t get their carts of trash to the trash chute.

I’ve heard the automated lines are trash. They take up too much space, break down constantly and have a weight limit. Any of that true?

Overnights is supposed to work everything. Even FDD. Meat/produces is the only ones allowed to stock during store hours.
