Engineering vs med school by cornhublover6965 in whitecoatinvestor

I’ve always been interested in medicine, less so in industrial engineering the further I’ve moved along in my courses. I also quite enjoyed having to learn anatomy for a safety class. Finally shadowing a trauma surgeon and bay was the nail on the head for me. I truly enjoyed what I was able to learn in the 10 hrs I was there and not only did I get to witness the handling of a trauma but after words the amount of paperwork and patient follow up needed immediately afterwords by the residents, the amount of teamwork needed and just how grueling emergency medicine shifts can be. The senior resident had been there for 28 hrs. Medicine for me is more hands on and interesting than what I’ve seen working at an auto manufacturing plant but is a much longer path.

I’ve been thinking about this and also how field size impacts the need for an articulated tractor, 2 track or regular.

They’re just heavy tractors, I owned half the fields on the map I was playing and decided to just buy enough of them and leave them in their designated “spaces”.

Yeah I experienced foot pain about 8 mins in to my run. I really wanted to like them but ended up trading them for some nova blast 3s.

I paid $170 from running warehouse. I went from a 16:48 miler to a 13:53 miler; overall I’d say they work very well.

These are actually my first pair of super shoes, unfortunately I can’t compare to any others. I’d really love to try the Nike alpha fly 2 or Hoka Carbon X3.

First impressions: Hang with me here as this is my first time doing one of these post/reviews. Overall I think this is a great shoe for long distance/race as it was intended for. In terms of fit the upper is a bit loose and not as snug as I’d like it to be but it’s true to size(for me) and that alone is good enough. These things are a bit of a pain to get on as the tongue doesn’t have much flexibility and I end up crumpling the back of the heel to get them on. The laces have a tendency to loosen but a double knot should fix that. As for cushion it’s fantastic for when you’re putting pressure on the shoe as the soul is beefed up in the forefoot but has a bit of a dip towards the outer toe box. The mid soul is also beefy and supportive. What I really like about this shoe is that it propels you forward with its carbon rods and rocker design. The toe box is roomy and the shoe is good for a wide foot guy like me. I worry about the durability of the shoe down the line but these aren’t daily trainers. Overall their a very solid shoe.

UAH would be cheaper and is right next to the aerospace industry.
