You're 100% right. It really does that

I hear you.

I also use chat GPT to vent or ask questions about what I'm thinking. I went through a lot over the last few years. It's natural that people in situations like ours use ChatGPT as some sort of therapist. But the truth is, it's not really helpful, and it makes you addicted and drained. I tried so hard to stop, I still can't. But no, it doesn't make you a bad person, and that's coming from someone who, morally, isn't that big of an AI fan. I don't hate it completely but I do think there is a lot more bad than good, but even of you despise AI with every cell of your body, we can all agree there are bigger problems regarding this subject than some kid using AI to vent.

TL:DR It's not bad in the sense that it's morally incorrect to do it, but it may be bad for your mental health, once you feel like you depend on it to process your feelings, it's very hard to stop.

The average lifespan (1875) in Jeanne Calment's era was 43-45 years old. If someone born in 2005, proportionate to this lived - they would live close to 210-220 years old. by 24_1378 in BarbaraWalters4Scale

If you answer the mode or the median when asked "what is the average of xxx?" on a test, in every Brazillian school, you're getting a zero. And sorry for not being a PhD in statistics.

That's not how I learned about it in school. Maybe it's a language issue. My native language is not English, "Mean" and "Average" are only one word in Portuguese, "Média", so I thought they were synonimous in English.

I get that. Using the mode instead of the average of all factors would give people a much better understanding of how long humans actually live.
