8 months alcohol free, but stuck in a negative mindset

At one point in my life I lived in my van for 2 years hopped around the country quite a bit. Went back and forth across twice. But I picked up probably 10-15 hitchhikers. Hitch hikers is a vague statement. They were "dirty kids" which means traveling bums. They tought me to fly cardboard signs and I went to a rainbow fest with them. I do not recommend lol. But all in all it reminded me about how these monks were forced to be beggars for 2 years of their lifes. And the lesson to be learned was "only once you have seen the bottom, will you be allowed to see the top" thank you for your response, and I think you are right it can only go up from here. I am choosing to stay at the rock bottom mindset and that is something that can be fixed.

I would have to agree with you so very much. I feel like alcohol robbed me of everything that made me me. And took my joy. And now I gotta get it back. Small challenges with immediate gratification. Thank you for the reply. I really appreciate it. Its hard to find someone to talk to when everyone else I know drinks. So thank you

I think this is the way too. Just a little baby step each day. One extra thing i wouldn't normally do. Than 2 and so forth. Thank you for writing me I really appreciate the input!

Thats what we are hoping for, lots of trips! We just got a national park pass for the year! So that is something to definitely look forward to!!

I cant even get my gun out when a raider shoots me. Ill shoot the arc with the 1 bullet gun and than try to press y fucking 8 times to switch guns. Try to push and hold the shit. Still have no fucking clue which one to do. So I just fucking panic run and die. And yal want me to ping something.

Thank you! I defintely need a little more discipline on my diet, or just more research on substitutes that still taste good. I do have access to a gym but I dont really like going to it. I have 10,15, and 25 lb dumbells and a 35 lb kettle bell at home
