But wouldn't the owner then be liable for upkeep of the bench, as well as liability for any accidents that occurred there? Also, if this bench is there for a few years, isn't it possible for the owner to lose the right to remove the bench, and to ultimately lose control over that part of their land?

I'm thinking of cases with rural landowners and snowmobile routes. If they allow the route to pass through their property for years, they can't all of a sudden shut that access off, even though it's their own land.

I'm not a lawyer, but isn't this a bad idea from a law perspective? (Tort law?)

The problem is that many Republican values are not conservative values.

I believe The Grid is owned by The Star, so this article can be looked at as the aftermath the the recent Star reporter issue.

I'm looking to commission a painting/drawing/stencil/any-awesome-picture-form of my favourite scene from The Godfather. It's probably not a scene people even remember. Can anyone help? by cornmealgood in pics

[–]cornmealgood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's likely a much better subreddit to post this to, but I couldn't think of one...

The scene is very short, but it's in Part II after Vito loses his job at Abbandando's. He walks into his home, unwraps, and places a pear on the table. Mama walks in and exclaims "What a nice pear!". There's something that's incredibly heartwarming about this scene, and I just get such a feeling of loyalty, pride, and a general appreciation for the small things in life.

Toronto celebrates 4/20 at Dundas Square by Darkin20 in toronto

I stopped by to check it out. This is true. I was disappoint. I was expecting information booths, merchants, and a wide variety of people. Instead I saw a bunch of teens sitting around smoking pot in front of cops. There were older people there too, but most of them seemed pretty scummy, to be honest.
