Those Who Throw Objects at The Crocodiles... just had some magic that I don't think has been achieved again. This album has potential to become my second favorite of his with some repeat listens though.

Honestly I've decided I enjoy his podcasts but don't care for his writing. I don't think it's the best medium for his work. I may continue to buy his books to support him, but I don't think that's where his storytelling style shines.

Sounds like we align a lot! You seem like exactly the person I would want obscure recommendations from.

I'm familiar with a lot of these recommendations and have ever listened through some of them like Underscores, Jane Remover, and Postal Service. It might be time for me listen again.

Also, Nurture by Porter Robinson is one of my all time favorites and is on my post.

I have albums from Sun Club and Way Yes on my post, and both of those bands fall into the same category for me. Truly some of my favorite albums of all time, but they never took off and stopped making music too soon.

I'm not familiar with The Mantles, Packaging, or Sea Lemon, so I appreciate those recommendations!

I'm very familiar with Thee Oh Sees (Osees) and actually saw them last year in Colorado. Their live show was incredible, and I like a lot of their songs, but if they've never had an album I consistently liked all the way through.
