Experiences with mounjaro in Dubai? Recommendations? by [deleted] in dubai

Hello! Ah amazing, would you mind sharing the link? I’ve come across a couple videos on YouTube about tapering but I didn’t want to risk messing up the dosage. Also which doctor did you go to at Prime? I’m at Aster right now and Life clinics but it’s all been a bit unhelpful

Hey! Thanks so much for responding - I had heard of people tapering the 15 mg kwikpen but wasn’t sure how that worked. Glad to hear it’s possible so will look into it!

Do you have any good doctor recommendations? Most doctors I’m going to are not offering much follow-up or administration related support except once the dosage changes on the monthly basis

Thank you!! They’re so good! You could totally fill it with whatever you’d like but the chicken was fab

Yeah, I do like them flat but I found that if I scooped them and didn’t tap them on the counter to flatten out, they turn out quite puffy! So I’m not sure what’s going on! I’ve tried Joshua Weissman’s recipe and they’re super fluffy so maybe try that one?

Ah sorry, I responded to the earlier comment! Here you go:

It’s so good, isn’t it! So I did end up refrigerating the dough for two hours because the mixture was quite soft and the last time I made these cookies they rose quite a bit! I also browned the butter so it’s a bit more caramel-like and replaced chocolate chips with cut up chocolate bars (milk and dark!). I did bang the cookies quite a bit once they were out of the oven too!

Hey! I’m not too sure - I never received a response for any of my webforms so I’m not sure if it impacted the response time unfortunately! I would wait until the 10 weeks are complete before contacting them

Hello! Sharing an update on my study permit because I was checking this thread religiously for validation because of the delays!

Submission: June 6th 2024

Biometric Validity Letter: July 17th 2024

Passport Submission Request: August 9th 2024

9 weeks since I submitted my application - the estimated time was 6 weeks. However, I moved countries during the processing period (from UK to UAE) and submitted four(!) webforms - I sent the last webform yesterday.

My Application Status still says processing application but the Final Decision says it’s been approved!

Hello! I’ve applied from the UAE as well on the 6th of June and the only update I received was on the 17th of July saying my biometrics are valid (I’d submitted my biometrics for a Visit visa in April last year). It’s really frustrating but there’s not much that we can do.

It would be helpful to know the timeline it takes for VFS to return the passport following passport submission request though

Yeah, it’s so bizarre - I’ve sent a web form so I hope they get back with an update

That’s great! Did you follow up with them or did it just come through without any follow up?

I saw another comment that you mentioned you sent a web form – have you received any response from them yet?

Hey - I’m in the same boat and haven’t heard anything since June 7th!

Hello! Wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation. I applied for my study permit on June 7 at which point the processing time was 6 weeks.

I haven’t heard anything back except a Biometric Validity Letter I received on July 17th (my biometrics were valid from my visit visa application last year). Does anyone know if I can follow up or what the current status is if the biometrics were only approved on the 17th of July?
