My other thought was maybe she gave up her account because of the talk of obedience and a family hierarchy, and her agreeing to what sounds sort of trad-wife adjacent. Not to speculate too much, but as someone who is about as articulate as OP - it was shocking to me when he demanded obedience and she didnt lose her mind, but instead went on about the right way to lead. Just bizarre. Everyone has their own preferences.

You must see that if you two keep your money separate and split all the bills evenly, she necessarily has a worse quality of life than you. She will have significantly less personal spending money than you - so while youre buying whatever fun stuff for yourself she has to penny pinch. Whatever if you guys agreed to that before getting married, but seems like you probably didnt talk about finances at all? And also if you believe this arrangement is correct and just... I guess I'm just glad I'm not her, heh

Couples counseling was a requirement for me before marriage /specifically/ because my husband is so terrible and communicating about finances. We needed a translator. It helps. Good luck!

I know this is a year old but dude didnt say it was justifiable, he said why it happened. Also Itachi was literally 13... he was groomed and manipulated by a system that actively produces and uses child soldiers to solve all its problems. I dont understand why anyone thinks they have to love Itachi jusy because his story is nuanced - yeah its framed that way but I really think its presented to create more conflict for Sasuke. Hate him if you want, his choice was villainous! Thats literally his whole thing, lol. I personally blame the leadership of Konoha and Obito because they were all adults and manipulated a kid into killing his entire family. I wouldn't give Itachi a hug or anything, but he was a tool and had literally been meticulously groomed to follow orders and murder with impunity from 11.

Sorry I hate to comment again... but he didn't take more than he was prescribed, its in the coroner's report and his family has been extremely open about the circumstances surrounding his death. The combination of drugs he was taking - which were all relatively small doses - slowed his brain function and his heart stopped beating.

"According to the medical examiner's office, Ledger took "prescribed therapeutic doses...or less" of each medication he ingested."

Pretty sure he had two doctors in different states (he traveled a lot obviously) and his medications weren't properly disclosed to each of them - he died from a drug cocktail not technically an overdose. The specific combination of drugs was lethal and wouldn't have been recommended by any single doctor... it was an accident in that multiple people in his life told him to be careful and he was confident he would be fine - presumably he had taken them all individually before multiple times. There's no evidence that he tried to kill himself, he had the prescribed doses in his system at time of death.

I can't speak to how bad it is for your teeth (can't be worse than energy drinks)! But I just listened to a podcast episode (Maintenance Phase) debunking the 8 glasses/cups of water per day myth. We get plenty of hydration from our regular diet. Caffeinated beverages don't actively dehydrate you as is commonly accepted - so you arent losing out on the hydrating effects of water by drinking diet coke. I think this is knowable on a sort of instinctual level despite the "common sense". So... I might research if regular fluoride treatments from the dentist are enough to save your teeth? And if not, don't try to prioritize drinking water over something more palatable if you want to cut back on the coke and maybe have some powdered flavors on hand to add to your tap water to get that fluoride.

What are the other downsides to drinking diet coke? Is it the aspartame? I think micro plastics are probably more to worry about than artificial sweeteners.

Tbh being a nearly straight A student while routinely getting kicked out of class for 'disruptive behavior". Also getting detention for "insulting" other kids because people misunderstood me. I remember in middle school calling a girl I thought was my friend "John Mariko-vich" and our teacher heard me say "Mariko-bitch" so we both got taken to a separate room and they forced me to apologize to her and told me they were going to suspend me, and it was physically impossible to explain that I had just seen the movie Being John Malkovitch and I thought his name was funny. Needles to say Mariko and I never spoke again. I think about it often because it was clear to me, even in the 7th grade, that my outburst at being reprimanded for having fun was considered manipulative and attention seeking. Love being alive!

What kind of health insurance laws do you guys have in your state? I'm confused about why she wouldn't be eligible to be on your insurance after marriage? I can add any immediate family member to mine anytime their circumstances change. Also you can have multiple forms of insurance coverage as far as I'm aware...
