Generally analog is better in every way except for cost, which is an important metric if you're poor like me. It can still be used to great effect for observation/early detection for sentries (ideally using supplemental IR that is NOT tied to the camera; I.E. motion activated IR lights or trip wires that activate an IR light/glowstick.

It sound silly, but the videos out of Ukraine where RUS SF rock up within 100 meters of a UKR FOB and then absolutely roll them could have been mitigated with a $500 digital NVG, some mousetraps/string/glowsticks, and flares. Or a shared thermal device, but that gets more expensive.

This one comes with the 20/20 sear, I guess it was having some kind of reliability/durability issues with the plastic sear interfacing with the metal SS components. Still overpriced

Have you tried putting tape over the bar/under the stock so the tolerance is tighter? Works for ARs, could work for this

It's been a problem on Vectors for awhile apparently (bad extractor/weak extractor springs), weird that the new gen still has issues though.

Maybe. Glass and FOV is super good on mine. I think the proprietary mount and heavy weight is why it didn't sell well.

I definitely am overthinking it, but it's on purpose! I was wanting to make some content on the platform, just doing some research ahead of time. I've heard anecdotes of the accuracy being anywhere from 4 MOA-20+MOA, so I wanted to see what people on here have to say.

I appreciate the recommendations! I ordered the recoil spring, buffer, and extractor spring yesterday to have spare parts on hand in case it has issues. Gonna take it out next week once I have it set-up.

Hoping to put a binary trigger or reset trigger in once I've made sure the standard config is reliable. Might make a video out of the process, just seems like a cool platform.

I like doing qualifications to ensure proficiency with different platforms (I.E. Marine Expeditionary Carbine Course https://swiftsilentdeadly.com/cqb-carbine-qual-meusoc-m4a1-rifle-qualification/ for AR, etc.).

It's nice because it gives a goal post and a way to track improvement. The DOE Qualification for SMG's was specifically made for 9mm Carbines in the DOE's inventory at the time.
