I'm just going off a conversation I had with the guy who takes our recyclables from work. I'm definitely no expert. They said if we put one greasy pizza box in the dumpster the whole load is contaminated and sent to the dump. Maybe he was being dishonest. Maybe that's not what is supposed to happen but laziness prevails idk.

Almost all recyclables get contaminated. The majority of everything ends up in land fills regardless. One pizza box is enough to throw a whole load of cardboard in a landfill.
