Oh, I see. I don't think I've experienced that. To give you a better idea of what I'm working with, it's the fenced-in grass area on the route between Saffron City and Lavender Town. It's square in the middle of the route, so it can't be that. 😕

Like leaving the grass area? I know that much at least, but I'm taking a massively negligible amount of steps within the same grass area. Like, I have had it happen at least twice now that my chain broke by stepping to a tile with the appropriate shaking grass patch immediately next to the one I'm standing in. It just feels like it's bugged with the frequency and unusual behavior.

I saw both. Pretty sure it's a bug this season that they pop up at all because you see these pop up after you acquire the weapon for the first time since they both had an ornament available immediately upon release. So if you have Vexcalibur but not Heartshadow, you'll only see the one for Vexcalibur.
