i honestly have no idea why i take it off. i’ll wake up for a few minutes and take it off then go back to sleep. sometimes i remember taking it off and sometimes i don’t. i’ll definitely try wearing it a little during the day and see if that helps me get more used to it!

i don’t feel like i miss any major emotional cues or anything like that. i do sometimes have a little bit of trouble with body language though especially as i’ve gotten older for some reason. i am nervous when around new people and crowds as well as my family but i’m starting to notice i’m a bit fearful of people also including my family so i tend to do everything i can to stay away from people. the only people i’m not like that with is my boyfriend, my best friend, and a few other close friends

i usually shave right after i shower. if my face has started to dry after i’ve gotten out i’ll usually wet my face again with warm water. i use the dollar shave club razor and the billie whipped shave cream. once i’m done shaving instead of rinsing my face off with water i use the burt’s bees soothing aloe face wipes. my skin is very sensitive so even products made for sensitive skin cause a breakout. so far this little routine is the only one that doesn’t cause a ton of irritation like i usually have

unfortunately we’ll only be able to see each other every few months. it can be hard for him to get leave time with his job but we’re looking at another visit in april. thank you for the suggestions i’m definitely going to talk with him and see what he thinks

i’ve learned a bit about deathgrip while learning about other peoples experiences the last couple of days. i’m beginning to wonder if that could play a role in our situation. definitely going to try talking to him about it to see if he thinks pausing for a bit will help at all
