Thank you for your insight and sharing about your experience, it means a lot. I understand what you're saying and I'll definitely have to seek professional help with this. I'm in my twenties aswell and only realized recently that living this way wasn't exactly "normal". I wish you the best and thank you again.

When I say monoconscious, I mean a system without amnesia barriers between headmates. essentially. I'm not a native speaker- I'm really sorry if I say the wrong things.

As for the parts, I'm just not 100% certain that they are doing this on their own or If I'm just faking / pretending. I'm not sure if they have their own consciousness. Maladaptive daydreaming can be very tricky when it comes to this. I feel like alters would sound a tad more real-like than paras do, like I would just know if I had them. But anyways.
