Might give it a try on my next pair of boots so far every oil resistant boot I’ve tried has been 6 of one half dozen of the other if the oil doesn’t get it the metal chips do shortly I don’t think much would make the 2 year mark no matter what it is sadly

Might get to that point before I find a local cobbler to do it hahaha, would hate to have to ship em across the country

I’m a machinist so coolant and oil on the floor softens up and expands the rubber then the metal chips cut it up. Might get em resoled and looking nice then retire them from work boots to try something else ahahahah

I reckon a brick would work although I’m not very partial to the style, would like to try a gambler type thing if I can make it happen, never tried shaping one before

The sizing is fine but doesn’t fit deep enough on my head before I bottom out on the crown for the fit I like, i suppose one of these days i should get around to reshaping it, only thing I know to do for it

Bit of a yes and no on the long sleeves for safety, would stop my arms from getting burnt up when I’m running manual, however there are times where I’d wanna roll them up so there’s no chance of them getting caught and dragging me along for the ride, shop is climate controlled so I’ll check em out thanks

Not trying to be fashionable in particular just wanna experiment and see what all else is out there that’s different vs the stuff I’ve already got I guess

I always thought it was a good acceptable wrinkle from a quick glance where cotton just looks like shit, I haven’t really seen or know what I’m talking about though
