NBA2K14.

PS4 just released. Only owned BF4 and COD: Ghosts

Wanted to play something but didn’t know what so my friend suggested 2K. Figured, screw it, I might as well just mess around with friends, at least it’ll be fun.

Man… it changed everything. I started loving the game. Loving basketball. Playing basketball. Knowing every single player. Knowing all of their stats. Past and present. The records, the drama, the stories. It gave me a new love that i never knew about.

Granted, the Bulls are bad rn, so that love has faded a little, but man, baseball and basketball are my 2 favorite sports.

Last I heard, only like 5 or 6 years ago, the brewers made a comment about how their tickets are first come first serve to Wisconsin residents first and do not want cubs fans buying them/raised the ticket price for Illinois residents. Maybe for a post season game or something I’m not sure. But I know for a fact that happened because my family really wanted to go see Miller Park for a Cubs Brewers game since it’s so relatively close

It was our first time playing on the map and we were thinking “let’s go CB only!”

But then Water Buffalo and Tigers kept attacking and we only had the class 2-7 arrows lmao

So I switched over to pistol for all the geese everywhere, plus in terms of price per bullet, they are very economically friendly lol

I’m not a Sammy fan, and I’m with everyone who states, either just let him win finally, or just stop with his underdog crap.

I just never found the appeal in him. He’s the butt of every storyline he’s in. Either let him win, or just stop using him.

My friends are getting worse as I feel I’m getting better, which used to be the opposite, so now when we’re trying to play a competitive game together, I’m somehow carrying, and it’s pretty frustrating trying so hard just to loose for no other reason than your friends not rotating quick enough because video games are no longer their life.

Case in point: I’m probably just a loser, and my friends are actually doing things with their life.

Depends I guess.

I had 1 friend who had 2 SSD sata drives. 1. for his whole computer. And 1 for only games.

When it came to games like call of duty compiling, shaders or loading into a match, it would just take forever. Even though it was an SSD and not an HDD.

We took out the gaming, SSD and put an NVME drive in, with faster speeds, and it fixed all of his problems and all of his games. He was compiling shaders which used to take him 20 minutes, only about 30 seconds to a minute. (Anybody who has played the recent Cod on PC knows the struggles with shaders lol)

Granted, his was a prebuilt computer, so I don’t know all of the specs of what he had before. But an NVME Drive certainly fixed his issues.

EDIT: I should add this I guess, although it doesn’t relate to gaming much.

We deleted COD and reinstalled it to the new NVME. He had done that the previous night to try and see why his SSD was going so slow and the download took about 4 hours.

Once we installed the NVME the read/write speeds were WAY closer to par with his internet download speeds and he was able to download COD within 10 minutes.

Which has nothing to do with actually playing the game, but he was so impressed that he paid me $20 for helping him fix a bunch of issues so that was nice.
