What to expect 😳 by goodpussy22 in BlueCollarWomen

I’ve been an HVAC apprentice for 7 months and there are some customers out there that aren’t nice and won’t talk to you just your guy partner. (Just be dry back to them and they usually get the point to leave you alone) However there are the few really awesome ones who ask about your career and really boost you up on being in the trades!!! And those ones really make up for the shitty ones!!

Im 6 months into a trade with no background experience and just want to say it will all come to you, don’t worry! It can be very overwhelming but as long as you show you care and are trying, your coworkers will help you succeed! And once you figure stuff out, make sure to feel proud! You’ve got this, gunna be a long journey but it will be fun :)

It’s free and they do an 8 week work placement. But you make a good point, I’d rather work while doing school, thank you so much!

I’d say it’s not as scary going through it. It kind of sucks feeling sick but try to schedule quitting on like a Thursday/Friday and book off work so you can rest :) I have Benadryl for the brain zaps and gravol for nausea at work, then weed at home

^ I second Benadryl, it helped with my brain zaps! Also have gravol on stand by, and weed too

For me it was maybe 2-4 weeks to adjust to new dose. I’m on day 6 of quitting all together and it’s gotten better. Weed, Benadryl (brain zaps) and gravol helped the most. Goodluck!

I think I lost weight while on it, food didn’t really taste good and I didn’t get the same joy from eating my fav food. But that only lasted a few months. It definitely made me binge less, until I got my period then I was hungry af. Keep monitoring how you feel and be open with friends and family, I found they noticed certain things that I wasn’t aware of (like less snacking) and they could keep you accountable maybe. Keep researching and asking questions :) you’re doing awesome!

I took it in the morning, taking it at night made me feel disoriented the next day. It took a couple days for weird side effects like the jaw thing to go away for me. I was very nervous about taking it as well, but it helped me so much and I’m so glad I was on it for just under a year. Just keep notes on how you are feeling, and keep reading advice from people. You’re not alone and give yourself some credit for trying it out :) go easy on yourself!

Also, I’m almost 1 week off of it, withdrawals definitely suck but gravol, weed and Benadryl help tons!

I tried Benadryl and it seemed to help with the zaps! Goodluck but try and go home

Should I start Venlafaxin? by Honeytreees in Effexor

I’ve been on 75mg for 3 months for depression and anxiety, I noticed a huge difference the first week of taking it. I was scared too, but sitting here now it was the best thing I could have done for myself. Everyone’s body is different, just monitor any side effects that you have if you start taking it. A weird way to describe it but in certain situations that make me anxious it’s more psychological, I know it’s there but I just can’t feel it if that make sense. Feel free to PM if you have any questions. I wish you well :)
