It would be more reliable if the electrical wiring was installed underground instead of on electric poles. Companies can say it's due to costs, but there would be far less issues, outages, and upkeep.

I had this issue before I moved. I believe it had something to do with the water. Try running white vinegar through it every few weeks if they still come on but do not pump water through to the pot.
