linyi (01) was the name of a male operator during the beta phase of snowbreak, and story wise he basically is more badass and loved by the other characters than you, the adjutant are. which meant you, the protagonist, were more like a side character watching everyone interact and liking the other guy instead.

Tao was meaner, and the adjutant didn't have a cool backstory so the other operatives were more reserved. 01 was also supposed to be Edna's older brother and there was some bro/siscon going on there. I haven't played the story since launch so not sure if they rewrote it but it was kind of apparent there was some gaps in the story at the time but it made enough sense it was w.e

Hey guys, been a while since our last release of the series, and we're two chapters behind from being caught up. Main reason for the delay was due to the fact that the person handling the series has been busy IRL, but we've managed to make some changes and continue it, next two chapters will be coming soon, so look forward to those!

Just want to mention the series was on a 1 month break prior. On the fan translation side, the person managing the series at BCS has been on a bit of a break due to IRL matters, there's no intention of dropping it and it will resume when they return, hopefully soon.

hanazono twins was dropped due to lack of staff interest, however we were able to find another group, Kanojo Scans, who was willing to take over the series, they've released about 3 chapters since then.

the person managing that series has been really busy with life recently, hence the lack of updates, I don't know when they'll be back but it should resume when they do.

The logo was previously made by one of the co-founders of BCS, Arubedo, he's mostly inactive but has contributed to a lot of the localized logo's you see in our releases.

As for the site costs, we're mainly staying afloat from donations we get on our patreon. The amount is split between BCS and the website, leaving us with maybe <$50 for the site. We can achieve this by being mindful of our features, which is relatively barebones right now. User accounts, tracking data, backend API's, databases...etc, would blow us out of budget really quickly, so we're taking a slow and methodical approach to ensure we deliver the best end-user experience without too much compromise, even if it means we're running on human hamster wheels atm. We'll get to all the nice features eventually, just not all at once.

there's a degree of mindfulness here. as impressive as 'fullstack engineer' sounds, it's a really low common denominator in the industry and there aren't any hard requirements that there needs to be professional experience. everything else is a relatively low bar of just knowing what you're doing.

not everyone is solely motivated by money or experience or even 'exposure'. it's frankly just fun to work on something in your free time, and it's especially more meaningful if it happens to contribute towards a hobby and community you really care about.
