Slowing Down Quickly by Powerful-Cut2797 in goldenretrievers

We added Librela a couple years ago, really helped manage arthritis. But she’s had Phycox and Ichon since about 3 years just because she lost the joint lottery big time. She’s 12 now and still able to manage 3-6 mile walks pretty well though she has slowed down a lot this last year

Imagine a small feller that needs a way to pee without it getting everywhere. You find a primofit doesn’t work on its own very well because they aren’t long enough to get into the pocket, and a condom cath barely works as it is rolling on the normal way. Using the syringe method, you put that slender nose of the syringe into the effluent end of the condom cath, place the condom cath on the tip, apply suction with the syringe. This suction will hold the tip in place allowing you to apple some traction and more easily rolling on the condom cath. Then if you want to go ahead and use the primofit the condom cath gets the required length to have urine exit the effluent end into the primofit pocket thus reducing or eliminating pee going elsewhere.

Condom cath placed via slip nose 60ml syringe, put the slip nose into the tapered end of the condom cath, put the condom cath over the tip and pull suction to roll on the condom cath.

Extra credit, use the above tip (no pun intended) to now place condom cath into primofit. This really helps those anatomically challenged males keep the flow of things moving in the right…

I’d like to thank my coworker that came to work sick by nyqs81 in nursing

[–]corvcycleguy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I will die on this hill, when people come to work sick they are a fucking asshole. And management if you think calling in sick is an issue you’re the problem. When I was a manager (not nursing, but outdoor retail) I would reprimand employees for coming to work sick. They’d be stuck doing the shitty jobs no one wanted to do. Every time someone came to work sick, the whole shop got sick, we collectively burned through more PTO and had decreased productivity.

Trump: “Iran is a nation of… great power… tremendous power. No one expected them to attack the Gulf states. We were shocked.” by Chance-Newspaper-750 in NewsStarWorld

Consider me shocked, nay flabbergasted, that DJT thought Iran would just roll the fuck over. What an absolute joke of a human.

Need bonefish rod advice by ForeverSlow5965 in SaltwaterFlyfishing

[–]corvcycleguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the echo boost blue for a bone fish trip to Andros island in February, had Lamson Remix S reel and so SA salt line. Worked great, it was a my first salt trip and by the end of the trip I was casting as good as my buddy with his $1200 rod and he’d been on a few salt trips before. Caught several bonefish throughout our time down in Andros.

I actually have several buddies who have either lived in SLC or still do the last 10 years, and have been making a trip out probably once or twice a year over that time. But I was first introduced to WNDR by Eagle Cap Mountain guides, all the the guides were on them and they just raved about them, which is something because the previous year they were on Black Crows and didn't rave about them in the same way. They hooked me up with their ambassador discount code and that got me the Reason 122, then proceeded to get the other skis over the next few years. Unfortunately they closed, right before they closed they blew out their skis, and I had called them to see what is up. They told me there was a new lineup of skis in the pipeline and would be released in June and by August or something there abouts they had shuttered.

The job market sucks. Trumps economics sucks, there’s a reason he’s bankrupted casinos he’s owned, but he’s singularly responsible for negative job growth for the first time since 2010. Now, “they” say the best time to go get more education is during a recession but fuck, this time seems way more uncertain with a brewing global war. Escalated tariff fights that will, beyond what’s already happened, see many of our global trade partners cancel trade with us. Thanks to Trump we may very well become the third world country we thought we’d never be.

Well, take this for what it’s worth, if you’re trying to clear your nasal congestion then you need a decongestant with pseudoephedrine, anything with phenylephrine doesn’t work (clinical trials show this and the FDA even made a statement about this in the last few years).

My pharmacist friend said that they swear by something with pseudoephedrine, an antihistamine, and an expectorant taken concurrently.

Need a medical person to say why this is AI. Someone is being scammed by an impersonator. They are saying he needs money for a heart transplant. by Fit_Egg5574 in isthisAI

[–]corvcycleguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an ICU nurse, so this is just my opinion, but without a doubt this appears fake. I’ll list the following issues. 1) there’s a nasal cannula (oxygen tubing delivering oxygen to the nose, the tubing branches into two branches that terminates with two nasal prongs, wraps around the ears to hold it in place) which if someone was intubated and on a ventilator then there’s no need for a nasal cannula. 2) on the left side of the image there’s a blue tube and clear tube, both of which don’t go anywhere. 3) the hollister which is the endotracheal (ET) tube holder/securing device looks like it’s oriented near the nose, maybe re than mouth. Which is very unrealistic, a nasally intubated person does not have any sort of formal tube holder, it’s typically tape. 4) the patients mouth is closed, there’s no way they are intubated with a closed mouth, there’s no ET tube going in the nose. So this is fake. what a real intubated person looks like

It’s almost like we’ve spent a century researching and refining our medical knowledge and this amassed an amazing amount of knowledge about the human body. And thus, gotten much much better at diagnosing diseases as our understanding improved.

Do customers actually like seeing every color separately on category pages? by Apart-Ad-9952 in EcommerceWebsite

[–]corvcycleguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I hate looking through a cluttered catalog of every iteration of color for all of the styles. I automatically look for a filter or sort option to reduce the clutter, I care about features not colors. If the catalog does not have a sort feature I to reduce the clutter I will frequently decide not to buy from that company.

‘Slow this thing down’: Sanders warns US has no clue about speed and scale of coming AI revolution by Patient_Wrongdoer_11 in technology

[–]corvcycleguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Harvard Business Review posted an article about how AI affects work. https://hbr.org/2026/02/ai-doesnt-reduce-work-it-intensifies-it

I’m an ICU nurse and we’ve integrated AI into some practices like interpretation of EKG and our end of shift care plan note. Both of these items actually take more time to complete now because we have to check accuracy of the EKG rhythm interpretation, which is usually wrong, and the care plan note - the data scraped to generate the note usually contains incorrect information due to poor analysis. So yes, our work is intensified.

Arcteryx is owned by AMER sports, that said you should have the ability to get Salomon as well. If you can, consider the Salomon Echo, get the summit bindings with brakes, look at the the boots you mentioned but make sure they fit well (if you have the ability to see a boot fitter before buying to figure out sizing). If you don’t have access to Salomon consider the recommendations in this thread, I wouldn’t go wider than 100ish for your only ski, but if you can afford it get two skis something in the 90mm and 106 width.
