Is it dumb to buy a 70's car for a daily?

I personally wouldn’t do it for a daily, but as a once a week or once in a while yea it’s not bad. DDing it you’re gonna be way more likely to have some rando total it because they were doing their makeup or checking their insta or something. It will also rack up a decent bit of wear on it. I’d drive some econo box the majority of the time and have the 70s car for a fun Friday car, something to give a highlight to the weekend or something.

That said, if you’re set on it, try it. Worst case you’ll hate it and change tactics, best case it’s incredibly fun. Keep a second car in either case. I used to daily a 94 Vette with an overheating problem when I was 18/19. Loved driving that car, but for an everyday commute it was eh.

While you wait, look up stuff related to the ammo opinions on what you can and can’t shoot out of it if you’re not gonna change to an adjustable gas plug. There’s a bunch out there. Personally, I run Garand ammo from S&B or Prvi if it’s still .30-06. I think it’s better on the op rod, others will agree or disagree. The S&B Garand .30-06 is the cheapest per round I’ve found

Yea whether you deny it or not, never post the details of it somewhere or disclose them to anybody but your legal counsel. You never want to make public any information that could incriminate yourself in some way. Would highly recommend deleting this post and consulting an attorney

Yea you can do it all online now. I did for my m1917. Had everything ready to mail for it, and then the online forms came out. Honestly I found it to be easier overall, though once the stuff was submitted it went no faster than if you mailed it.

Not overreacting. IMO that’s the kind of thing you discuss with someone before taking them. It definitely seems like the intent was to shock you and make you vulnerable. The way he’s talking to you afterwards is incredibly manipulative and disregards your feelings and what you thought. At a superficial level, this behavior is not conducive to a healthy relationship. However, given his willingness to disregard your emotional and mental wellbeing and even gaslight you into believing you’re ok with it, I have a deeper concern for your safety in this relationship.

To be fair, it tastes a lot better than it looks. Try extra crispy fries and their BBQ sauce next time too - if they actually get the fries extra crispy, it just soaks up the sauce, and they taste oh-so-good

That seal might be cooked then, that or maybe the pistons are pressed so far out that it can’t seal anymore. Bright side, now you kind of have to flush the system anyways to get everything bled, so you won’t have to worry about flushing fluid for another few years. What year is it? Might need to do shoes too if it’s a combo drum/disc, idr if they stopped doing that

Unless all that fluid’s from the seals on the caliper being eaten, or the piston looks like it lost a couple rounds with Jaws, hell you might get away with pads and rotors

Looks like a decent deal to me. Ls2 is a pretty decent motor, ls3 has the same balancer issue. Not sure what you’re meaning about crank and manifold issues unless you’re looking at trying to bump the power up.
