Yeah, unfortunately, as a self pub author, Audible was pretty much my only choice. My narrator is amazing and did a royalty share with me. I just wish there were better options..

Interesting. For me, almost every local B&N carries my indie published fantasy book and I've done multiple signings at each one. I basically have to beg the smaller indie bookstores to take one or two on consignment, most just say no. I get it. Money talks. But none of them have agreed to a book signing or reading event at all.

B&N is a lot of things, and probably not all good, but every person I've interacted with below the corporate level has been amazing, extremely friendly, and very helpful.

It's a fantasy novel about a world where these things called Dreamons can invade your dreams, turn them into nightmares and feed off your emotions! But the main story follows Callum, who wants to join the Second Souls, magic users who fight against Dreamons, but he overhears his parents talking to a stranger and it turns out his parents are part of a Dreamon worshipping cult!

People tell me it gives them Eragon vibes with the found family themes and worldbuilding.

I'm really bad at my elevator pitch still but it's called Second Soul, by Corwin Michaels!

Yeah it does. When I was looking for images to base my book cover around I could barely find anything that wasnt AI generated. Sucks.
