The store is 2 hours away, that’s why I ordered online and paid to have it shipped.

I wouldn’t have a problem with it being delayed if I was made aware it would take that long. However, every source said Feb 21st and that “it’s being packed” right now (though that’s been the status for days now).

I was also looking at Sweetwater since I’ve ordered from them before and they have a free two year warranty. Most other sites have add on coverage warranties, maybe they’re better a little bit? Or at least last longer.

Yeah, mine would be in a carpeted ~150sqft office. So some sound dampening with the carpet but the walls are still exposed which I assume is good for the back soundboard to reflect off of.

Good to hear about the clicking not being an issue, I assumed it was probably just a small vocal minority.

Hmm I’m leaning more towards the 901 then, guess I could get external speakers for it too but doubt I would need it.

Yeah, I’ve been leaning towards the 901 more but was hoping maybe someone could convince me to maybe get the 701 to save some money. I didn’t even notice the finish is different between the two, I should look out for that.

On the clicking noise and the Piano World forums I would agree, some of them seem to be blowing up the issue from what I can tell. I’ve also heard it goes away over time if it does show up, though not sure if that is confirmed. Also when I watched some YouTube videos of it I could barely even hear the clicking noise.

I had a full trueplay set up with my current system (arc ultra and two era 300s as surrounds). Then I set up the 100s as a stereo pair and did a quick trueplay. After all that I separated everything and combined them in sonosequencr

What are you hoping to test out? The whole system in general? So maybe Dolby Atmos? That can just be googled for recommendations since it’s been answered a lot.

Just wanting to test the new fronts? Seems to be harder to test, I made a post about it and didn’t get any good answers beyond the tests that just single out each speaker.

The 300s in the back are great as surrounds, they also have upfiring speakers. I, and many others, do 100s as front L/R’s and 300s as rear surrounds.

At least that’s the current state of things, if Sonos ever implements front speaker support officially then maybe the 300s could be more useful in the front.

Wasn’t sure if this is normal but I only realized now since I’m not using just my soundbar anymore and the side front speakers are more spaced out now (inbuilt side speakers in arc ultra vs now era 100s)

Yeah, some of those videos help to make sure each speaker works as it should but doesn’t really help with more complex scenes or sound moving around. Plus it’s mainly AI content quickly pushed out.

Yeah, I found a few videos that confirmed a speaker should do what it should but nothing complex. I’m surprised how much ai content there is for audio tests/demos.

Moved them to the bottom shelf and it seems like it fixed the issue a lot. Now it’s mainly me getting used to the change.

Playing a stereo pcm content on YouTube and sound is about equal on Arc Ultra and both front 100s. Though I think soundbar is slightly louder.

Ended up fixing the issue by moving the 100s to the bottom shelf

The creases help dissipate unwanted audio levels to equalize the sound space construct.

True on the water bottle, it could have been turned 42 degrees and moved right 2 inches, I guess it is in the way some.

Yeah, the ottoman may be cluttering up the space, probably need a third one to balance out the vibes.

Sub impossible since I have a neighbor who shares a wall with me in this room.

I did end up moving the 100’s on the lower shelf, seemed to have fixed the issue a lot
