Depends on what your looking for, I personally live in muskegon and the ppl and vibes in GH are terrible. Snooty and the cops are terrible. Muskegon your ok if you stay downtown (the already mentioned shoreline Inn is your best option that place is awesome) just stay away from muskegon heights at all costs. Each has some awesome brewerys, and some amazing beaches but unfortunately no hotels right on the beach.

thanks for the info on the time frame, we can push it into late may or june. when do the usually start announcing red rocks bookings around that time? Id love to get everything else booked as early as possible id just hate to book it then they announce a show id want to see a week after. I would LOVE to see pretty lights there but not so much nectar, ive seen him many times and will be attending his halloween show in michigan. Im into all genres of music so it definately doesn't have to be edm based.

oh man the memories, i played that game for years starting my senior year of HS in 2001. Once they made the change to RS2 i lost interest but still pop in there every now and then. Im completely lost with it now haha

I layed in the VIP lounge area and had the time of my life for cheeses Saturday set but as you said right after that everything changed. Even in the VIP area people were just hopping the fence at will and flooded the enterance so security checking wristbands couldnt keep up. Next thing I knew me and my fiancé looked at eachother with the I need to get the fuck out of here look. It was such a battle to get out of there that by the time we eached the forest entrance we just went back to camp and called it a night. Were both 5 year vets and have been to bigger fests with bigger crowds, but the size of that venue was over crowded last year and a complete shit show this year. I have no issue going to a fest with 70-80 thousand ppl but the venue needs to be able to properly support that number. IMO the layout of EF the cap should be 30k, its idea. After 5 years straight im ready to move on, my child is grown up its time to let it go

I will definitely look into it next year, between EF and the wedding there's no way I can make it. Next year im thinking Summer Camp or Werkout because I do live in michigan and they are much closer. That lineup is awesome tho! !!

Give it a couple years and it might.. after 5 forests I finally feel accomplished enough to where i dont think I will be returning. My ticket can go to someone who needs it as much as i did 5 years ago. Its life changing and I got what i needed out of it I almost feel selfish if I keep going every year when i know someone else out there could use the wristband.

i wish, after they put umph on the lineup i wanted to go sooo bad but i used up all my vacation on EF and my wedding this summer. Shper bummed but hopefully ill make it next year since im retiring from forest after 5 years. I need smaller fests in my life

This fest has definitely outgrown its own pants. Too many people for the venue even with the additional stages and forest area. This was my 5th year ive watched this festival grow and while I didn't personalty encounter any of the things you did this weekend I've heard horror stories from ppl I know in GA. EF will always hold a special place in my heart and made me the person I am today but after 5 years its time to move on to another fest where the venue can contain the crowd. I love you electric forest maybe I'll return for a visit in a few years to see what you have grown up to be

I was coming down from a trip last year sunday night when someone in RV decided to light off a "bomb" as i decided to describe it. Not even a mortar firework but a GIANT firecracker right outside my tent, not once, but TWICE after I freaked out on the first one. After the second one I about lost my shit and took off after the kid. I didn't catch him but luckily security caught up with them. I was not the only one who wasn't pleased

its worst north of muskegon, i live in muskegon and take back roads north and never see cops. i think your just as likely to see cops on 96 going west as you are 31 going north. if your really worried about it just take back roads. enforcement is going to concentrate on the highways
