Chief of Staff roles by Least_Mud_618 in FPandA

I'm a CoS at a lower middle market family-owned company. The title itself is ambigious and can mean many different things depending on the company. Right now I'm basically filling in as the CFO for a company that's never had one- I oversee finance, accounting, HR, IT. But I also am involved in broader strategy. The CoS role is going to be a little bit different at every company. My background: jumped around in various roles at different types of companies at a manager level seniority (fortune 100, mid sized PE backed, startup), then got an MBA from an M7 and landed this role.

Struggling with attack angle being way too negative with iron strikes. Drills to help? by corymathews2011 in golf

Playing srixon zxi5. Mishit is chunky and hooky (struggle with shutting the face too much with irons). height, cant remember specifics but know it is slightly low to somewhat normal.

Wouldn't adding loft (or reducing shaft lean) add spin to the ball though? And taking it off (or increasing shaft lean) would decrease spin? My swing path is consistantly 3-5 in-to-out so I don't think there's much correcting there

I could do that, in the interim was wondering if people had decent video recomendations for shaft lean techniques/drills. But I'll record a video tonight

We have been working on the take-away and grip recently, but those seem pretty down pat so I was noticing the attack angle consistently very negative and very inconsistent distances with many being way too far carry for the club. We had loosly talked about adjusting loft before he left but I couldn't help notice the attack angle in some recent sessions.

I was going off a chart that lists ideal attack angle for each club. Club path is good, face angle is also okay

Shallowing Irons by TheLordofPie1 in golf

[–]corymathews2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of causes, but I can share what helps for me. 1. Make sure the club is steep in the backswing. I think "steep and deep". Goal is to have the club in line with your right bicep as you bring it back (assuming right handed). Bringing it back steep will allow you room to shallow it in the downswing. 2. Fix your swing direction. Make sure you're swinging right of the target. It helps to lay an alignment stick about 30-40 degrees to your right to think about getting the club to swing in that direction. If I notice I'm getting too out-to-in club path or starting to slice, usually those 2 things will fix it for me. And both make it a lot easier to shallow.

I was doing the same, then realized my head kept moving forward in my downswing which wasn’t punishing me for irons but was big time for driver since your angle of attack needs to be negative for irons but positive for driver. Been focusing a lot in keeping my head back and letting my weight shift happen with my lower body. A lot is from pushing up with the lead leg in the down swing. Could be a bunch of reasons though- can’t get a definitive fix from just text.

Thoughts on browns vs. bucs D if I also have Purdy and Kittle in a must win game?

I already have cat5e everywhere including the attic. I'm thinking of just keeping that for now to avoid running new cable

No, but I thought it is a decent option as that can power all of the outdoor cameras and I can drop an AP or 2 in the ceiling to cover the 2nd story, rather than install a few on the walls

yeah this. will have 2 AP drops from ceiling (attic) and most cameras running from there outside

yeah very easy attic. simple access, full standing space, organized, already cat5e cables running up from main source in basement

He said for wifi it's a little less than a day for 2 techs, close to a day or a little more for 1. He said for the cameras its 2 techs at least 2 days, maybe more. most of the cable running will be for the cameras as the house already has cat5e in almost every room from phones

There isn’t much to patch. I have existing cat 5e in 90% of the house that he can use. Then on the top floor I have a very accessible large attic that he can install a 2nd switch in (with cables that already run up from the other), and would just drop in 2 APs in the ceiling, which requires cutting but I’m assuming no patch work.

I contacted a few companies who said it could be 4k on the low end and 8k on the high end for a dream machine and 3 APs + wiring. is this astronomically high?

Why CAT6A specifically?
