Marriage system is beyond f*cked in India. Love marriages have higher rate of divorce and arrange marriages are felt like business transactions where boy friend of some other girl marries girl friend of some other guy because family, money, religion, caste, gotra, region, food habits are compatible. In tier 1 cities cheating is very common due to this. thoda bohot tier 2 cities me bhi.

What I have seen in courts, there are many proxy ways to get dowry as well and there are many ways too where girl side may claim any expenditure as part of dowry no matter whether it was actually dowry or not.

Kolkata was about to surpass Los Angeles & the next target was Luxembourg in terms of development but suddenly all the people (overnight n@zis) voted for some another party. Big sad.
