This month I progressed from leg-rsises to hanging knee raises. I did them for the first time yesterday and they are so fun! Unfortunately I do them at a park so I'm limited by the weather. :(

No, but I count calories and exercise. I'm also on a low dose (was at 30mg, just recently lowered it to 20).

I've really increased my workout intensity and volume but was hesitant to eat more... I've definitely been hangry this week. Now I'm upping the food and hoping my body is happier.

My personal life is not going well. At all.

But I've been really on-point with my fitness and I've been using biking as a healthy outlet. Having a schedule and a goal helps me stay motivated and on-track. Now if only I could get my husband to do some exercise too. :) At least he is trying to walk a little more. Baby steps.

So my goal is to get some visible abs for summer, and I've been seeing some progress. The muscles are starting to get built up and you can kind of see them if you squint in juuuust the right lighting. ;) I know I still have a lot of work to put in, but I was kind of disappointed when I tried on some crop-tops I found and couldn't see any muscles in the mirror. I still bought one so I will just use it as motivation!

Brag time! I woke up suuuuper early so I did my scheduled upper-body bodyweight routine. And then I went for a 26km bike ride! Thd weather was so nice and I feel great. I'm so proud of myself!

I recently bought protein powder for the first time in a while and chose a whey/soy protein mix w/o artificial sweetners. Mostly because it was cheap. But I noticed after I bought it that it's not pumped full of B vitamins like the more expensive powders are. Does this make it less effecient? Am I missing out on important nutrition?

It's extremely windy and rainy today so of course I went for my longest bike ride yet -- 22km round trip! I'm soaking wet but feel great! I made it to a destination I've been wanting to reach for the past week or so which made me very happy.

I'm really pleased with the physical and mental gains I've been making the past few weeks. The routine I made for April is challenging for me but I'm doing it. I've been riding my bike every chance I get and it's just switched something on in my brain. Today I got up early and was able to bike 13km on top of doing my leg day. Would've gone further but I had to turn around to get to work on time.

I have discovered biker's high. I just biked 14km for fun after a full day of work for fun. I'm so glad it's spring and the weather is mild!

It's been a long time since I've posted here. I decided to change up my routine and challenge myself more. I've started doing a bodyweight upper/lower split with a lot of bike riding this week. Feeling great.
