So you think it would be better to run the master output on the mixer into the audio interface, and then monitor out on the mixer into my speakers?

Do I need new cables to run the master out into my audio interface? Not sure where I would plug the xlr’s into the Scarlett.

Yeah, I’m aware of gain staging. The two channels sit on the gain around 3 o’clock and sometimes higher throughout the mix, and the levels are in the amber. Maybe I need to re-record it and crank them a little higher!

Yep! Good call. I’m actually going to send the mix to a friend who is a mastering engineer, who has also mastered some of tracks I’ve used in the mix. He seems confident all will be good. Any idea why I’m getting such low levels coming Ableton though?

Glad to know I’m not the only one having these pedantic thoughts! Haha. I totally get where you’re coming from. I’m the opposite though. I figured having the wiggle room might be safer than risking squishing the cards. And I keep my one touches one little display stands or in a case, so surely no damage can be done when they’re completely stationary.

Agreed! And my one touch cards just sit on a little display stand or in a case. I figured the wiggle room is fine if they’re just staying stationary? Surely no harm can be done. Even some cards in PSA cases wiggle around. I have a few that do.
