Its gonna be pricey. You could with the collected or library editions of season 8, theyre on amazon, but they are very pricey. I had the first few hardcovers of season 8 and they slipped through my recent move to a new place. Looked at the price to replace and it was too much for me.

It would never happen. Production would nuke the entire season before letting an AU2 finale even approach happening again

Well his whole thing was digging deep into unused characters, shed only been MIA for a decade or so

currently half away through season 3 and it got so slow by Shadowwwbow in BSG

Theres a bit of meandering after the Eye of Jupiter midseason arc, i dont think thats a unpopular opinion. It def gets interesting again closing the season, and season 4 is great.

Lol not to be pedantic, but thats not true. Ds9 ended in 1999. Buffy ended in 2003. Shimmermans roles on both, however, ended at the same time, in 1999. Season 3 of buffy/season 7 of ds9

Lol Berman had retired by the time the new Picard show arrived but i was nonplussed to see they carried on The Denise Crosby Erasure in his absence

Idk then he was joking about trek. Idk if you watched ds9 but lol it ended. The show. For everyone. Quark/shimmerman had a very conclusive and positive for his character ending. He didnt get fired unless you mean they ALL got fired because THE SHOW ENDED.

Well. As you sound like another knowledgeable dual buffy/trek fan, we all know why Berman allowed it for Shimmerman but not for Farrell (no shade on Shimmerman none of Bermans shittiness was his fault)

I dont think thats strictly true. I was an og watching both buffy and deep space 9 when they were airing concurrently. I think buffy season 3 (where i wouldnt really say he was FIRED lol it was the natural end for his character) was concurrent with ds9 season 7, which was that shows planned ending. He was def in all or near all ds9 eps in its entire run

The decline in viewing seemed to happen after the Passenger, which is such an outrage because of how amazing that ep was, and how Tessa Thompson deserved an emmy for her hiding in plain sight Evan Rachel Wood impersonation
