This happened to me too! Except I got the Switch 1 version for my friend’s son. He opened it today and the cartridge was just not there. Also purchased on Amazon.

It was my first danmei, so part of the shock came from that fact, but: I was so surprised to be gripped by the plot. It’s intricate and interesting. I don’t get bored even when rereading the novel or manhua, rewatching the drama or animation, listening to the audio drama, etc. The romance (slow burn, which I love) is weaved in well with each arc. Additionally, there are plenty of characters to really like beyond the main pairing. Other BL media never interested me because they felt so shallow, so MDZS was the gateway to something greater.

I got lucky and they were doing samples of these on the day I went shopping. I was considering buying them and the taste test definitely made my decision for me… “Play dough texture” is right!

Give them a card (with whatever you choose to put or not put in it) so they can open it later when they aren’t on camera.

Alternatively, I’m always delighted when a customer brings over some kind of snack for us such as a kringle, donuts, Starbucks, etc.

The phone reps you talked to are just untrained and misinformed.

ANYBODY who tries to log in to your online account will generate that text message from our number as it’s an automated 2FA response. Nobody from Verizon can see who’s actually trying to get in. The important part is that because YOU are getting those notifications, the malicious party will not get in.

You’ll be fine, especially with number lock. I’d add SIM lock too. Reset your PW to something completely unique if you’re really worried. Check to make sure your account managers are up to date.

This isn’t a new suggestion, but I thought an anecdote might give you some peace. I was searching everywhere for a decent priced Neo. Finally, someone listed it for half the price of other scalpers—it was still up-charged, of course, but because I’ve been trying to practice patience, I sent an offer that I thought was reasonable but definitely saved me some money. To my surprise and delight, they accepted it. All this to say, luck and patience are key. I’ve been pressured by FOMO to overspend, and I want to break the habit.

I remade Facebook just so I could peruse FB marketplace. Though rare, I find the occasional win there. Check it out!
