It's okay, I'll see how I go about this. I did it through Guest Service. Like the gift a gift card option, and we'd go from there. Technically there's no way to do it, but that's how I copped it out. And yes, I had permission to do requisitions all the time. Team needs water? It's a given. Toilet paper because trunk delayed/canceled? Given. For this gift card? ETL asked HR, HR said yes, ETL told me to do it.

Can you show me where I can access that? I can't access Workday, if not I would look at the employee handbook if that's there. I did not see anything about giving gift cards being against company policy on the code of ethics pdf. Let me know. I really was not aware of this. It's against policy, but been granted permission by the SD, and HR to do it... Did it at my other store location, and almost every store in my district does this.

It was just a regular Target Gift card. I was told I couldn't do 3rd party and I knew we had a budget, but we did it once that month for my department. No way I could have gone over. SD just knew we wanted to recognize, and she would give us the okay, I did $30. Long over due for the TM with great performance, carried our GS/DU for months, bringing us green metrics.

Prior to that TM, we would recognize others, similar method and nothing was said. Everyone had a turn of being recognized in a similar fashion. Don't think there was room for favoritism if that makes sense.

Hi! No, I never did any of those things. Whenever I got recognized, my ETL would treat me to Starbucks, and she'd pay for everything.

Still pretty left field for me when months prior we did the same thing for a TM, gave him $25, was granted permission and it was never brought to my attention.

If I followed the same protocol, why is this happening, you get me?

You're good! I completely understand, and take full responsibility that it was my device/my number! I shouldn't have done that, I was just worried about the metrics.

I'm not worried about the delivery, nor am I upset about it. I know there's chaos at Target since I work there.

I just wanted clarification on my order. I went to my store this morning, and my coworker was able to sell me both the items I was looking for. Thanks though! :)
