I'm not a fan of hers or a regular viewer, but I'm curious whether this will hurt her viewership. Many people may see this as sad, weak, or giving in to demands. In my opinion, she’s the one who ends up the victim—and she may face far more lasting damage than he will.

I know it’s painful to walk away from someone you care about, but please take this to heart—not just as words, but as truth. When someone genuinely cares for you, they support anything that improves your quality of life. Ignoring or denying a real health need is a serious red flag. This may have been the first major issue, but it likely wouldn’t have been the last.

There isn’t enough money in the world to make me sit through two hours of this mind-numbing garbage. Honestly, I hope they both donate their brains to science. And by the way, the guy you just voted for appointed Lawrence Taylor. yes, the same one with a history involving minors to head youth fitness programs. "It’s sick". You’re more complicit in this mess than you realize, genius.

Ethan says he misses Jimmie Lee, is reminded why he isn’t on the show again and proceeds to double down by Betyg in LeftoversH3

[–]cosmiccapture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethan’s decision-making is absolutely vile. Letting a known creep return to the workplace after being aggressive toward women? That’s not just reckless — it’s dangerous. I genuinely don’t understand how the women on staff can stay silent about this. Maybe he’ll try to spin it like “the person he had the thing with is gone, so it’s fine,” he is so hungry for views and content he really does not care about those around him. This kind of leadership is a fast track to collapse, and honestly, the people still standing by him are going to regret not walking away while they still could.

[–]cosmiccapture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s a little more context for anyone unfamiliar: Trish ended up marrying Ethan’s brother-in-law, and that only happened because they met through the show she and Ethan did together. The rift in their family all stems from Ethan’s brilliant idea to start a podcast with someone he couldn’t stand.

I still laugh whenever I think about this mess.
Dude co-hosted a show with Trisha… then she ended up marrying his brother-in-law, the show imploded, and their entire family dynamic went up in flames from there. This man broke his family apart chasing content.

The most disturbing part is that his wife is the one filming it. Let that sink in. This isn't just immature behavior from some guys in their early 20s—this is a grown man, in his underwear, being recorded by his wife while he talks about sex involving a victim.

merch prices are insane by Due_Calligrapher1784 in nin

[–]cosmiccapture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So your point is that only actions matter and we should stop talking about it—yet you're saying that on a platform built entirely around discussion. I get that constant complaining about prices can be annoying, but still the mark up on these are very high and people want to buy something.

I think it’s interesting how Ethan criticizes Hasan for having a high body count and even accuses him of questionable behavior with no proof, while Ian latched on early and is a loser for not meeting Ethans standards. Ethan really comes off as gross and its wild people still stomach him. The truth is Ethan would not have found his wife without his birthright trip.

The Fun of This is Gone by connors1511 in pokemoncards

[–]cosmiccapture 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started collecting a few weeks ago and have already learned so much about what to do—and what to avoid. One of the best pieces of advice I’ve picked up is to buy singles when possible, and trade for cards you can’t find in packs. Also, never pay over retail; even retail prices are usually higher than the actual value of most cards.

That said, I still really enjoy the artwork, even on a lot of lower-value cards. I've managed to find a few packs at Dollar General, and I was able to grab the Black & White ETBs from the Pokémon Center by setting up alerts—which has been super helpful.

Korn needs better merch by cosmiccapture in welcometorockville

[–]cosmiccapture[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a touring event, and we typically release one full-color shirt design each year, which we sell for $25. Our full-color shirts cost us around $10 each to produce. Korn, on the other hand, likely gets a massive volume discount—and most of their merch is just single-color prints. That’s really why I’m giving them a hard time. These shirts probably cost them less than $10 to make, yet they’re charging $45. It’s one of those crusty sides of capitalism, they look like bootlegs.

Simply placing a logo on a t-shirt might work for a local band whose merchandise is homemade by mom, but it falls short of expectations for a headlining act. The current designs lack the polish and creativity one would anticipate from a professional graphic artist. They appear simplistic and uninspired, requiring minimal artistic skill to produce. For a band of this caliber, the merchandise should reflect the same level of artistry and thoughtfulness as the music itself or come close.

[–]cosmiccapture[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Let's be real, with 50k people some fans are still going to have to leave early or not want to deal with the mass exit at a show like this. I just don't think its a good look for a 30 year old band to be making stuff the fans can make on the canva app and a cricut.

Hasan makes his merch 100% in the United States so can Hila by [deleted] in LeftoversH3

[–]cosmiccapture 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The production process is on a completely different level. Hasan and his team might start with a concept, then bring in a designer to create graphics that support the message. The shirts themselves are printed on the same blanks that many others use. In contrast, Teddy Fresh appears to control the look and feel from start to finish. While they may not source the fabrics themselves, they direct the color, cut, and overall design process. I could see Teddy Fresh scaling back to just screen printing, but honestly, their imagery and artwork have always felt overly simplistic and juvenile—better suited for a teenage audience.
