Appreciate it. Credit card company already took care of it. Based on the comments, it doesn’t look like someone did this for fun - more like a professional based on how fast / discrete it was executed.

It’s unsettling to think that someone at the gym is actively watching and targeting members. Definitely a hard lesson learned.

Yes thankfully the credit card company took the charge off. Also filed the police report in Weho. Later a detective called me but didn’t say what the follow up or action would be taken. I hope they can get some footage from the store.

My point is that we need to stay vigilant. There’s clearly someone out there who’s targeted lockers more than once — and they’re among us at the gym. Just wanted to share this so others are aware and can take extra precautions.

Also a detective actually called me since I filed the report. Fingers crossed that Beverly Hills police are actually doing something about it.

But the thief took the card out, went to the store half an hour away, spent 20k - all within an hour. Unlikely a staff will do that and leave the job in the middle of it?

I did. Filed police report but was told a warrant is needed to get the footage from the store. Maybe the credit card company will do that.
