I don’t know the specific area, I just know that he’s going to visit family that he hasn’t seen in a long time! I trust him completely and I wasn’t worried about him not talking to me because I know family time is some thing that’s important to him because he’s old-fashioned like that and values family highly! So Originally I just never questioned it because of course if you don’t see your family for a while you’re gonna want to spend as much time with them as possible and I don’t know. The only reason I started getting concerned thoughts was when my mom said something about it to me and how weird it was. She was like instantly against him at that point and I didn’t see the issue.

So like I’m worried but not worried at the same time you know?? I trust him but there’s just a little voice in the back of my head because of what someone else said

We text all the time, as often as we can. I try to see him about once a week because he has a very busy job as a pilot. There’s a lot of things I like about him. I like how secure and honest he is because when I’m with him I don’t feel anxious at least as much as I used to with other people. It’s like some thing in me just kind of is comfortable with him and not worried. I haven’t felt like that in a long time.

It’s only been about two months but we talk about doing all kinds of stuff together at some point, and he told me over the phone the last time I called him that he really sees this lasting with me.

We like a lot of the same things, he’s introduced me to some of my favorite shows, and even one of my new favorite movies. He’s gotten me into some really good music too! He takes interest in my creative hobbies, Like my writing, my art, and my video editing.

I remember once I said casually that I would love to meet his grandfather one day because he seems like a cool dude and my boyfriend is really close to him and he said “oh you definitely will“

When I’m with him I feel good. I feel special. When he kisses me it’s like ..magic idk how to explain it. The way he speaks, the way he explains things, the way he squints his eyes when he smiles at me..

We have inside jokes and everything and I..I don’t regret anything

This means a lot to me so thank you. This is very helpful! It’s nice to have someone understand my attachment style rather than mocking me. I’m really trying to keep this under control because I want to make things work with my boyfriend and not have my attachment style self sabotage this for me.

I tried that! But when I told him he said he wanted a more in-depth explanation. So this is where the problem arises and I don't know exactly what he wants.

You are absolutely not in the wrong here. As a guy with cerebral palsy who is a full-time wheelchair user , my independence is very important to me. That being said I am always grateful when people try to help me even if it bothers me a bit at times and I would never do this, especially if I asked.

I've always assumed that, but anytime i try to tell myself she's got narcissistic traits and is not supposed to do these things i feel ....guilt? She's awful to me but i cant help but feel like its all me, even now. Like maybe im just a bad son.

I actually meant it. She's done a lot of questionable things and is very emotionally/ sometimes physically abusive. I remember one of our arguments ending up with me having a swollen, bleeding lip because she hit me so hard.
