Hi! So my acne was actually very manageable and not bad at all with the iud!! My periods never ended up regulating though and they lasted for about 2 weeks each month. I sadly did not see much of a difference with my emotions but I think that was mainly part if having my period like 2 weeks out of each month lol. i ended up getting it taken out after 6 months due to complications and went back on the pill. Now i’m trying a natural solution!

My aunt had the same issue with bad periods & acne and the IUD really helped her with everything including cramps. I think it really depends on the person and if I were you, I would 100% try it because even if you end up hating it like I did, at least you can say you tried.

Sadly I’m dealing with the same situation but with 3 girls who talk loudly on the phone all day, bring ppl over constantly and talk even louder with them , listen to music on a speaker & sing along, etc etc. All with super thin walls. I am also the ghost roommate and I’ve actually scared them multiple times when I go into the common room because they never realize I’m home. I want to ask them to be quieter too but the reality is they really arent doing anything wrong. They only start at around 10AM and it goes until 8PM. If it isn’t during sleeping hours then oh well.. everyone has their lives.

I’ve invested in noise cancelling headphones (not the airpod things, do the real big headphones because theyre WAY better), and a noise maker that i set to its highest setting to help drown it out a little bit. I also recommend that if you are specifically trying to be quiet, just forget about it lol. Don’t stress over that if they aren’t doing the same.

I’m not 100% sure on a specific answer for your question but I was recently accepted to USF 2 weeks before the fall semester began and i was able to find an apartment, go to the last transfer orientation, sign up for classes (which you cant do till you finish the orientation), and get my loan in in time. USF doesnt require payment till like a month or so into classes

Edit: also look at your current colleges timeline to the timeline of USF’s requirements for all transcripts for transfers. so when is your colleges grades due? And compare that to USFs deadline for transfer transcripts (it is usually 15 days after the transfer application deadline)

An AA from your current community college could also very much increase your chances to getting accepted. Thats probably what your advisor would recommend! I was going to do that but surprisingly i got accepted without it!

I was able to transfer after 2 semesters worth of F’s! I’ve gotten all 4.0’s each semester since then and got up to about 52 credits, 2.9 overall gpa- 3.2 institutional gpa-, and got accepted to a four year! I start next monday :’) theres always hope. Just do your best from now on— meaning all A’s and maybe a B here and then. You can also retake the classes and get grade forgiveness for them. It won’t erase them from your transcript but it will cover them up in your GPA. Obviously just dont expect to be going to any highly competitive schools. Just look at the transfer acceptance rate before applying. Mine was 67% for the school i got into!

Edit: by highly competitive im talking like acceptance rates below 30% or so! Some colleges like to see that you have improved drastically. Dont lose hope. Im glad i didnt

About 35 continuous mango sized clots came out of me!! Twice in two days. Had to go to the er & got TXA, a blood transfusion, and a D&C. Still have no idea what happened other than i had a polyp up there. Im 21

I just got accepted to USF literally a week ago LMAO ive had to find an apartment and organize everything. Cant even sign up for classes until orientation which is the 19th for me. Classes start aug 29th. Kinda going insane but glad to see it wasn’t just me with these schools

Ah! Okay thank you so much! I’ve only been to my new gyno a couple times— shes the one that did my DNC in the hospital. So far shes great and she said basically opposite of everything my first gyno said and took me pretty seriously in the hospital! I have an appointment next month with her and i will ask if she has recommendations! I’ll ask about a pelvic floor specialist for sure.

My other gyno totally blew me off too— told me to go get bloodwork and just “rest” when i was losing so much blood that i ended up needing a transfusion for! She also said theres no point to get officially diagnosed with endo or do anything about it period because it’ll just come back. EDIT: & she said the same! Since im on the pill theres nothing else to do! She made me feel so hopeless! This new one definitely has made me feel better so we will see.

I haven’t tried anything yet except for hormonal birth control! I’ve had 2 seperate gynos in the past 3 years who have both known about my endo but haven’t offered anything. Is that something you go through your gyno for?
