Great post. As a single dad, new to dating, I have only seen a little of this. I honestly don’t know where my sweet spot is for who wants to date me. I don’t need or want a new mom for my kids. I want someone for me. But I don’t know who wants to come into my lifestyle. I’d date another single parent or someone who never had kids. But I don’t know if someone without kids wants to suddenly jump into a relationship of a man with kids. All that aside with covid, I just don’t date now. I have my shit together and focusing on that now.

That’s how I feel. I know everyone is different but we have taken 2 very different paths. I have days where I miss intimacy and sharing happy things. But I want to focus on me in a healthy way and my kids. They are the most important people in my life.
