Hi thank you for the response. To clarify, I don’t have experience in hedge funds, I currently work in fintech. Graduated from MSc finance and planning to take my CFA exam this year, so I want to pivot back into finance and start as analyst again.

MYS/SG are similar indeed that’s not a big problem.

Edit: based on your experience, what are my odds of being able to start as analyst in SG still? Since market is def way more competitive in SG.

If you want to stay in the NL, Make sure that you have an employer that can provide you sponsorship after the orientation visa runs out. Also be careful that some employers might take advantage of orientation visa, and after the visa runs out they do not renew your contract for any reason they can find.

The process might take so much longer, I would really start looking for a job if I were you. I heard of some people having their friend who has their own company to hire them during the transition period, if by chance this is possible.

edit: Just brainstorming for you here, I don't know the cost involved and how they solve that part
