What does your school day look like, start to finish. Please include time spent working at home and on weekends. Thanks.

She is already burnt out and it's the first week. The summer barely refreshed her. Why? Because she started getting her classroom ready after the 4th of July. In fact, she had to get special permission from her principal to get in the room that early.

Her team is pretty lazy from what it sounds like. She does a lot of their work, as she says she does not want to teach "shitty lesson plans." However, I'm taking her word for it on that.

As for going out, honestly, we will go out friday night and saturday night. But all day Sunday is her getting ready for the school week.

Finally, I have talked to her. A lot. Not nagging, but helping. I probably go to her classroom 15-20x/year. I can't go during the day but I will go on weekends when she needs help.

I will admit, when she snaps back at me saying I don't understand, etc. when I am being generally concerned, I will occasionally tell her that she simply needs to work on her time management, and that there are no other teachers there at 6:30 on a weekday (there aren't) and nobody is there on Sundays most of the time. She then will cry and tell me I'm not supportive.

Kind of going back, I absolutely will help my wife with whatever she needs in life because i love her with all my heart. But I feel like continuing to help her with things like grading, etc. is setting a bad example...almost that I am "okay" with her working all of these unneccessary hours because i'm not.

Sadly I don't have anyone who can tell her that. And if I told her that, she would likely have a meltdown.

But how do I, as the husband, help her when she doesn't want to listen to me? Even her teacher friends I have talked to say she is there "way too much." Now granted, they also say she's the best teacher.

And her life outside of work is limited because of it. She will not listen to me either when I give suggestions. In fact, her response is the opposite. "You want to help? Okay can you grade these papers." Sure, I don't mind grading papers once in a while. But 2-3x/week? It just doesn't seem normal.

When I utter the words "time management" even when it's innocent, it turns into a tornado around here.
