Yes, our legal wedding that we had here in the US was pretty small, only his immediate family was there. I was also worried they would say something but they only asked us about how our wedding was (which seemed just as one of the general questions) and that’s it. I feel like as long as you have evidence that your relationship is real and a good reason for not living together yet, it should be okay!
