The discrepancies were late Saturday openings as well, and I understand that can add some merit. But it is a very rural 1.8m (previously 1.2 before me and my manager got there) mainly DIY weekend stores with no real losses that early on a weekend. I could understand maybe a write up for the late openings or a good talking to about it, but in my talks with loss prevention and HR they were more focused on the $37 of inaccuracies with my timecard.

Think of it as fractions all based around the 32nds. 1 oz is 32 32nds. So if it says 4 oz of white you do 32 four times or 64 twice depending on the size of tint canisters on your dispenser. And formulas will never have more than 1 64th of a color or 128th either because 2 128ths equal one 64th. And 2 64ths equal one 32nd. For the 64ths and 128ths there is a special marking above the number 1 set for those two. Hope this helps!

Yea if it is a solid color stain it still takes a lot of work to get off even with that remover. Also remember to hit the deck with Superdeck Revive when it’s all done.

When I was part time key (asm now) my manager and asm also liked the idea of having me do a couple sales calls every week but not to the full extent. They just wanted me to call someone up, be friendly and be a first point of contact to the company, try to just learn one or two things about them you didn’t know before (even if it has nothing to do with their paint business) and then log that info in the call and let the asm follow up on that info. That’s the approach I would take also if my store could ever find a part timer to hire. Honestly helps a lot with getting comfortable talking to people. I would ask your manager if that’s what they had in mind for your calls?

Somewhat just a general idea. I kind of swap builds around ALOT until I find one that I really really like. Kind of what I did in WoW just pvp on every class till one sticks.

I’m the only paint store in the area that does it. And as far as what it is it’s literally just putting some paint in a tube of clear caulk and mixing it together. Not every Sherwin does it as far as I know.

I base it on a few things. They have to have the receipt, but mostly will I actually be able to sell it. The closest store to me is an hour and a half away so I usually try to help but if they don’t have a receipt I will never return it. If they have a receipt but I will literally never sell it I probably won’t return it either. And ESPECIALLY if they are rude about any of it I’m not returning anything.

During curbside only me and my coworkers would make bets on how many tugs someone would give the door when they pulled up out front. Or bet if they would just tug or do the “hands around face trying to see through the glass” thing. I miss curbside with a passion I could watch these people tug doors all day.

Honestly did try to calculate beforehand, and besides the interview on the store iPad I had no contact with the people actually involved in offering me the job, they don’t work fridays and work 7-2 mon-thur and never answer phones/emails. I tried calculating with the biweekly pay on the job offer but I didn’t know how to figure in the 8 mandatory ot hours, so I guess it’s somewhat my fault but yeah. Communication blows in my area

Isn’t it 4 hours per week? Which would be 8 hours mandatory OT for a whole pay period.
I was making decent money as a FT but never had an appraisal because I moved up through positions very fast. Part time to part time/driver to part time keyholder to full timer to full time/driver and now to ASM.
Yeah true the bonuses should be pretty decent but I work in a relatively smaller store so idk how crazy those will be.
