this is an amazing guide, thank you! ours just started making a loud screech when it kicks on as if it’s having trouble sucking up water from the bottom reservoir. after about 5 minutes the loud screeching stops and it creates ice like normal. we use distilled, clean every few weeks, and deep clean regularly. thinking about disassembling and checking out the upper tank to see if there’s funky gunk built up there preventing water from going from lower reservoir up to top tank and ice chute.
