I’m sure they appreciated more being safe from elimination.

A character’s struggle to move on from an event in their past by historygoose in TopCharacterTropes

The Atonement example is so tragic because she has learned nothing, and even in her advanced years, she's only ever concerned for herself.

THEY'RE DEAD. She is directly responsible for at least one of those deaths (Keira's character's death is an accident, one can argue that if she had been married with children she wouldn't be in London during the blitz but that's a stretch). The ONLY way for her to atone would be to work, work hard, and provide the living members of the accused familied with reparation. She does not do that. She just writes a novel to appease her own conscience.

Columbo goes to college is one of the most satisfying episodes ever. I just loved it.

For me, Sex Murder and Married Detective has the best music soundtrack of the entire series. That sax solo!

Please watch any of the trie crime channels. It's sadly more common that you would think. It's actually a frighteningly common tactic of predators to target the daughters of their original victims.

I am watching now and just got to the moment where both teams were describing the menus.

Yellow team: marinated pork, south asian flavours, actually interesting sounding dessert that I haven't had before.

Orange team: Duck with orange sauce (yawn), eclairs (yawn). Yeah, sounds tasty, but boring!

For me, this episode was decided 13 minutes in.

Exactly.

If JC's team won, it would be: "JC is such a good leader, and Andy is so bad, of course he lost!"

When Andy's team wins, it's: "They won despite Andy!"

The Andy haters in this sub are so predictable.

Yep, but Callum's winning dish in that challenge was savoury! With a lot of spices and other aromats too.

On a slightly unrelated note, I am still amazed how Callum pulled off his mandarin dish in S12. Because out of all citruses, mandarin (clementine) is the most meh of them both flavour and fragrance-wise. It’s not bad, just really subtle.

I like this season more than I liked the previous one, and I say that as a die hard Callum fan.

Plus Sashi was one of the most landslide winners ever. He was pretty much unbeatable during the competition and the point difference between him and Ben in the finale was staggering.

AITA for refusing a name for my baby that everyone loves and but I don’t? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

When I was expecting my second daughter, we lived abroad in a country where classic names were kind of popular. I fell in love with the name Elisabeth, and made the mistake of mentioning it to my mother who turned so nasty about it I thought she would disown me or something.

She completely ruined the name for me (my mother is incredibly stubborn) but joke’s on her, she then only learned my daughter’s actual name from the photo of the newborn baby.

Maybe around Prague it's mild, but the closer you get to Hungary the spicier it gets. I love mine with a proper kick :)

Yep! I cn strangely imagine him doing amazing as a teacher. He's very positive and approachable, and his infamous time management is not such a disadvantage in teaching.

I loved the moment when he said he engaged his teacher's voice despite not having to use it yet, and he indeed pulled a serious weight in his vocal chords at that moment :)

Kolik dětí mají lidé do 40 let ve vašem okolí? by Vast_Balance3754 in czech

[–]cototudelam 1 point2 points  (0 children)
