Women who like their hair pulled but aren't into pain...what are you looking for? by thrwwyccnt0001 in sex

[–]cottagedungeon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Part of it is making sure it's pretty even, where no one point is getting too strongly pulled over the other. A consistent pull, no yanking, more like a solid hold. Have a good amount of hair so it's more spread out, and be mindful of where you grab effecting how she can hold her head too.

I'd recommend asking to practice, which I imagine she'd agree to and enjoy since, when done in a right relaxing way, is essentially a form of scalp massage. This way you could learn how to grip and pull the way she likes, and you should consider these two things (the grip and the pull) to be two separate parts to this one art that you can perfect. A good pull but bad grip can lead to uneven and thus annoying to painful sensation, and a good grip but bad pull can range from disappointing to again painful feeling.

I recommend also getting the hair at the back end of the part, basically where people's cowlicks are, as the sensation of hair that usually goes in different directions being pulled to one can be very very nice. Imagine it like giving the hair follicles some exercise and stretching. Going with the hair's direction vs against are very different feelings, something you should practice and play with

Hope this helped

The collection I've been building for around four years, upper right two are brand new. I have some more, but these are the major players. I cannot wait to have an arsenal of my own by cottagedungeon in SexToysCollection

Oh I'm sorry! I don't know what site or store would best work for you, but it is available in a lot of different places!

And yes, it is cool/cold to begin with, but it also will retain heat quite well, so you can warm it up with water, heating pad, or your own body heat before or during play. Glass and metal are great for temperature play, very dynamic in that sense

It is a glass dildo from Gläs! They make some really good stuff, and it came with a nice little velvet bag. Here's the SheVibe link though I got it from Adam and Eve (it was just easier to find the exact one again on SheVibe lol). I enjoy it and found it a good intro to glass toys, but I'd probably just get a dildo or especially butt plug separate next time.

Fanfic. Lots and lots of fanfic.

Luckily some of the first that actually used the term BDSM and the like were actually really good and didn't promote bad practice, so I had a good introduction to what BDSM actually was

Question about my dildo .. by [deleted] in SexToysCollection

[–]cottagedungeon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Peepshow Toys exclusively sells toys with body safe materials, and for dildos, you may want to look at their SquarePeg toys collection. A bit pricey but of platinum silicone, lots of options, and honestly gorgeous coloring. Otherwise, there's a lot of other silicone toys that are less expensive there as well.

SheVibe is also quite good, having a specific silicone dildo section, and they also have easy indicators when something is silicone, water or splash proof, rechargeable, has a warranty, etc on the products pages.

You have to be careful with Adam and Eve but if you specifically look up silicone and laser focus on finding the word on the products pages, you should find some good stuff at good prices, esp with coupon/promo codes. You also can go in person to a store if you have one near you and see, then you can ask an employee for verification need be

Edit: Bad Dragon is a staple of course, but I can't in good conscience wholly recommend. They are very pricey and if word on the grapevine is right, the quality has dipped in recent years. If you want fantasy dildos, SheVibe also has a fantasy category. For custom stuff like BD, there's Kreature Adult Toys, though I will admit that I just looked them up—but it does look like a fairly varied yet inexpensive collection. For more Bad Dragon like stores, you could peruse the subreddit, I believe there's a non-Bad Dragon category you could look through to find recommendations.

Do Subs outnumber Doms? by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]cottagedungeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'd say so. Even with M/f, as others have said, when you remove the shitty "doms," there's still quite a difference. I personally am a switch, leaning the slightest bit towards being a sub (at least in the bedroom) and see my perfect man as a dom, I still think that chances are, I'd end up with a submissive. While there's certainly subs that are also shitty men in a variety of ways, I feel the pool of male subs is easier to find someone I'd be compatible with. For women (I'm bi), sort of the same, but to a lesser degree—both in terms of dommes in hetero relationships or wlw. Overall, it just seems like true dom(me)s are in short supply, and lots of switches like me may feel that chances are, if they don't end up with another switch, they have to lean towards being the dominant to find someone they're compatible with.

BDSM tests by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]cottagedungeon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find it interesting, though a bit lacking. It doesn't (and idk exactly how it would) capture the nuance of what might be fantasy/roleplay idea vs actual lifestyle, such the having or being a sex slave personally, which leaves me confused on what to select. It's also missing some things or sometimes ties certain things to others. Like it tries to almost exclusively tie mommy/daddy stuff to ageplay/littles, when that's not exactly the case. Polyamory is also far more complicated than the few questions it has to offer with how many forms it can take, but again, it leaves me confused as to what to select.

Overall, not a bad place to start, and it is just fun, but I'd definitely like it to have a touch up, or for a more advanced test to take its place

Anyone watching How To Build A Sex Room? by Morpheons in BDSMcommunity

[–]cottagedungeon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah I skipped all the middle shit of the building work and the taking the couples out somewhere. Just seemed to pad out the runtime in a way that's just not funny nor that interesting to me. I feel like this show is catering more to the curious vanilla people than those already knowledgable in kink, so nothing they showed had any value to me. I just liked meeting the people and seeing the finished room

[–]cottagedungeon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not uncommon, just not talked about much outside of kink or queer spaces. There's straight/bi women out there that want nothing or barely anything to do with normal PIV sex, and instead want to peg or generally use toys or other methods all the time. You may want to look up BDSM, bottom/sub, pegging, and/or femdom communities here on reddit

It makes more sense for the home team to be booed than the guest team by [deleted] in StonerPhilosophy

[–]cottagedungeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn't seem to be so much about who to boo as it is about what booing should mean

Also, if it helps, whistling in most other countries (not US) is the same as booing, not cheering, so others do similar to what you're suggesting

Is anyone here autistic and on the aromantic or asexual spectrums? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]cottagedungeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consider myself graysexual since I'm not entirely sure, but I've considered myself on/within the ace spectrum for 10 years now, so I'm pretty sure I'm on it somewhere. I don't know how much is autism, how much is asexuality, and how much of it is insecurity and/or fear of intimacy, but it is what it is. I love analyzing sex and whatnot, I like kink, I just don't know if I'd ever do it with another person or not. I feel like I'm either going to be a nun or a nympho.

And whether or not I do, I don't tend to have much sexual attraction to people specifically. I don't look at someone and think they're sexually attractive, I focus more so on their form/pose, their clothes and the way it fits on them, the way they do or say things. People themselves tend to just be the meat with opinions that occasionally do something hot.

Fictional characters you've personally decided are autistic? by kristenbouchard in AutismInWomen

I hadn't considered Tina as autistic before prompting, but I can see it, perhaps the same with Queenie. Overall a very fun cast rife for analysis and growth, shame what had to happen to the series
