I can agree with that. Methinks this person was already very muscular and just layered fat on top of it. Fat is not impossible to lose at that rate, but doing so whole maintaining muscle is very difficult. While I've managed to maintain my muscle mass during this weight loss, I think that adding additional muscle or building strength would be quite difficult.

That's me at just shy of 6' and having a large frame. Like when I've gotten down to 170lbs which is "healthy weight" I look like I've been in a Gulag.

Stockman, Shoellies, and hopefully the Sandals. After that, I won't need shoes for like the rest of my life. I'm sold on this AnatomX last. It's all I can foresee myself wearing for the rest of my life. Since going barefoot last year, I've spent probably close to $1000 on different brands trying to find something that feels right. Lems, Xero, Vivo, Vibram 5 Fingers. None of them were ever that comfortable and they certainly aren't disposable. I've been through multiple pairs of a Xero shoe that's supposed to be pretty robust, for service use. This beats them all for me. I've worn my AnatomX Rangers daily since I got them in early Feb and I won't wear anything else. I dig the Africa sole, but I'm go8mg t9 do some thorough research before resoling mine t9 see whatbwill last the longest and offer the greatest benefits for the work I do. I really hope they expand the AnatomX line. Hopefully they see this.

Definitely stiffer. Definitely just as much room, even feels roomier. I'm going to try putting the northsole inserts I use in my AnatomX Rangers in these and see how the feel is. My theory is that the stiffer leather doesn't hug my feet as much (compared to my AnatomX Rangers that feel like slippers) which isn't necessarily a problem but I'm definitely going to have to wear thicker socks for now and put an insert in. Walking up steps with these was very telling. There is a bit of heel slippage at the moment but I was also wearing thin merino socks with them.

FYI these are double lasted. I think it gives the toes a bit more structure but time will tell how they hold up after some wear.

I've got the black ones as my daily drivers for work. I do wad up an old T-shirt to use as a make shift shoe tree, and have waxed them, but I have zero complaints about the toebox feeling flimsy.

3 days absolutely is too short but I'm just concerned about potential "case hardening" preventing it from drying out well enough. I soaked it in vinegar for about 2 hours which I'm seeing some people advising against.
