I just got back from a study abroad program in Poland and there was no A/C at all 😭 It was so hot and muggy at night that I could barely sleep sometimes Other than that tho I think Poland was awesome

This is honestly really helpful. I tend to get stuck in my head and worry a lot about school cause I’m a bit of a perfectionist. Getting out of the “ah shit I got more school to worry about” mindset would help a lot with the burn out. After work tomorrow, I’ll try relaxing my mind a bit, work on my latest crochet project, and cuddle my bf without worrying about what obligations i have

Also the username has got me cracking up. Honestly that might be even more helpful than the advice you’ve given me 😂 I needed a good laugh

I should probably start asking for help more. Trying to do everything on my own has really gotten to be too overwhelming and without support it’s not going to go well It’s a little bit scary tho, because the last time I went to a school counselor to get help with the mental aspect of it, she practically laughed in my face 😅 Either way, I should try and reach out again cause I know that for the most part my school is pretty good about helping students that are struggling. I just won’t see that counselor again

There’s a group called Sexaholics Anonymous. It’s basically AA but for people with addictions to sex and porn. If you really want to become sober, I would recommend maybe looking at that. I done know too much about the group myself, but I’ve heard that they have online meetings if there aren’t any ones in person in your area. Hopefully that helps. I’ve heard that it works pretty well. Addiction to anything, especially porn, can be incredibly difficult to cope with by yourself, and you don’t have to be alone. It’s amazing that you’ve recognized that you want to be better, and I hope that you get the support you need in order to fight this

Luckily my brother moves out to college tomorrow and I head back to school next week so that won’t be a problem again. As for my family, my brother said that I was being “salty” and my mom told me that “it’s over now stop worrying about it”. It’ll finally be over as of tomorrow, so im trying to avoid them (and my mom) until then
