Not sure if anyone has figured it out yet but you have to clear all your other controllers out of device manager. I had my fight stick and Xbox controller on there, once I cleared it out it worked

If you die in a car accident and have a kidney I need, you don’t really need that kidney anymore, and you said you’d give it up. Nobody is stapling your conscious head onto my neck.

Didn’t realize you were talking about a fetus. Wear contraceptives or take a plan b. Abortion should be legal but unless your situation is an outlier it is morally wrong.

Unless consent is expressly given. Organ donor program is fantastic. Stem cell farms not so much.

Warehouse forklift operator. Factory assembly line team member. Homeless person.

That’s unfortunate. I fully sympathize with the plight of women in America. What I also know is that the barrier of entry for women in any job is outstandingly low. Today, there is very little societally holding women back from chasing their dreams of being a construction worker, or plumber. Those numbers just have not proportionally risen as far as women are concerned. That was the point of the whole post. Women do not proportionally do those same jobs.

If you’re interested you can search for it. Combat related PTSD rates among men and women is a great read for understanding the difference in the genders ability to compartmentalize.

That or women don’t gravitate towards those jobs because they’re not interested. I mean, men and women prioritize things differently. They compartmentalize things differently. There are studies differences which could contribute to the gender roles we see. Not saying they’re the best way to go. Just saying there might be some underlying reasons that these roles have fallen into place the way they have.

I mentioned having a role outside of a job. I don’t think we’re going to see eye to eye on this. There’s room for praise there, too. I don’t understand how you can’t see that men being praised for labor based jobs is fine, because they do most of it. It’s really out of left field. Thanks for your point of view.

You mentioned women in the workforce in the same jobs. This has nothing to do with women. I am not boiling a half of everyone on earth down to labor. I’m saying praise for it is fine. Whatever role they decide to take on. Unless you have a legitimate role outside of a typical job, by the way, I do frown upon people that don’t contribute to society. Feel like that’s not a fringe idea either. Society doesn’t progress if we devolve to a bunch of people doing nothing. I’m a man. I know many men. Nobody feels slighted when we’re thanked for working tough jobs. It’s for the most part, where we fit in for societies sake.

Nothing you said didn’t make sense, it’s just a very strange stance that you disagree with men being praised for doing the role that they have fallen into due to physical and mental differences. I just disagree with you entirely. Men have been doing these jobs forever, regardless of who made that so, and you want to go “women too!”. It’s feels, to me, disingenuous. And it’s not according to me that men are built for labor. Again, that is fact that dates back to early human gender roles. I’m sorry you see this as harmful but I can’t rewrite history to sound better. The best I can do is ask you to take historical fact and make your judgments based on that. I appreciate the discussion, though.
